Chapter 1 INTRODUCTION

Computerization is a well organize system that manages processes in industrial workplace. It reduced human error and processing time; it can boost the productivity and result into high quality of service produce. This can result in a system that can perform much faster and more accurate than the manual system Enrollment is a process of entering and verifying data of student to register in a certain school. Enrollment System is used in recording and retrieving students information. Enrollment System is a good example of a computer generated. It can lessen the workload and provides accurate information needed in the school. As a result, it can benefit the whole administration department and the students to. Above our observation, human interventions will highly involve in this type of system. As a result, this may involve errors and redundancy of data resulting troubles in organization.

1.1 Background of the Study The enrollment system we have proposed and proposing is for the school named Maysan National High School which was the school that is public owned and public managed but then, the enrollment system on the said school is still in manual. And we have learned from addressing random interviews around the school premises that, the manual enrollment system was too slow and too difficult for the school to manage at the reason of lacking in faculty members who are knowledgeable enough on handling and managing such large manual files, records and folders.

1.2 Statement of the Problem The Manual System is too slow and its need more time and days to finish the enrollment. The old system needs much paper for enrollment form. Because of the many process of the old enrollment it takes a lot of time to finish the enrollment.

Hypothesis of the study The System will become useful to the Maysan National High school. It will improve the enrollment of the school and all the documentation will be more organize. It helps a lot to the registrar its easy to find all the document of the student

1.3 The Objectives of the System

We are specifically aimed to introduce to the said school the beauty and functionality on using electronic devices such as computers on helping them to compile and manage records on enrollment season, and to propose the computerized system on handling students records to avoid mishandling, redundancy, and to prevent records on getting old and damaged by natural calamities like rains, storms and heat.

The System will automatically update the customers database which is very important. Because of the increasing of the population of MNHS. This Study helped regarding their enrollment transactions and activities. The System aimed to benefit the school in their enrollment facilities such as maintaining records of the student, assessments fees and especially the Enrollment System itself

The System is not design to send SMS to the parent of the student enrolled in MNHS. The System is not design for enrollees of summer class. The System is not connected to internet. The System is not responsible for any payment in school.
