National Power Training Institute (NPTI) has been set up by the Govt. of India under the ministry of Power, to function as the National apex body for Human Resource Development of Indian power sector. The corporate office of NPTI is located at NPTI Complex, sector-33, Faridabad-121003 (Haryana). It operates on an all India basis through its institutes in the different regions/power zones of the country viz. New Delhi, Durgapur, Nagpur, Neyveli, , Faridabad, Bangalore, Nangal and Guwahati. These institutes are fully equipped with latest state of the art training infrastructure. Power System Operation Corporation Limited (POSOCO), a wholly owned subsidiary of Power Grid Corporation of India Limited, was formed in March 2010 for achieving the multiobjective goal of ensuring uninterrupted and reliable power across the country, facilitating an efficient electricity market; optimization of precious power generating resources; facilitation and deployment of renewable energy sources and ensuring equitable and fair use of the available transmission infrastructure. in a neutral, fair, transparent manner. It consists of 5 Regional Load Despatch Centres and a National Load Despatch Centre at the apex.

Call for papers

Papers on the above theme are invited from interested professionals, organizations, manufacturers, institutions, agencies etc. for presentation in the Seminar. Authors are requested to send full text of their paper (hard copy as well as soft copy) for presentation in 12 point in Times New Roman font with single line spacing. The e-mail address of the corresponding author shall be provided for future contact

Methodology
The technical sessions shall be devoted to key note lectures from experts on themes, presentation of technical papers by various eminent personalities from relevant fields and discussions. The concluding session shall be a panel discussion and formulation of recommendations. Paper accepted for presentation in the seminar shall be published in the proceedings after a peer review. The full text of paper shall be published in a Souvenir to be brought out during the seminar. Authors interested in presenting their papers on the theme may please send full text of paper to Sh. S.
