Straight and close to the edge of the palm - cautious when it comes to relationships Multiple life lines - extra vitality Circle in line indicates - hospitalized or injured Break - sudden change in lifestyle 6Study the fate line. This is also known as the line of destiny, and it indicates the degree to which a person's life is

affected by external circumstances beyond their control.[2] Begins at the base of the palm.

Deep line - strongly controlled by fate Breaks and changes of direction - prone to many changes in life from external forces Starts joined to life line - self-made individual; develops aspirations early on Joins with the life line somewhere in the middle - signifies a point at which one's interests must be surrendered to those of others Starts at base of thumb and crosses life line - support offered by family and friends

7Determine the hand shape. Each hand shape is associated with certain character traits. The length of the palm is measured from the wrist to the bottom of the fingers.

Palm Reading Chart Learn palm reading basics and how the palm reading chart is interpreted, with this easy to understand palm reading guide which contains information to help interpret the secrets that lie hidden within the palms of your hands.

Palm reading is one of the branches of the ancient art of astrology, where lines and creases on people's palms are used to predict the future and deduce the obvious and hidden traits of their personality. Though there is much debate on the authenticity and credibility of palmistry and astrology predictions, they still manage to attract a great amount of interest from both believers and skeptics alike. It is also known as chiromancy or chirology. A palmist uses a palm reading chart to make certain predictions. There are different schools of palmistry and therefore, the method of interpretation does vary. The three basic schools from which present day palmistry evolved are Indian palmistry, Chinese palm reading and Greek palmistry. The palm reading guide below gives some common palm reading basics that will help you to learn how to read palms and with practice you may even be able to tell the future.

Palm Reading Basics

In palm reading, the hand that you use most often is first read and then the other hand is read. The generally accepted rule is that the dominant hand or the hand you use more often, is the hand which determines your future and the other non dominant hand is used to determine the past or hidden traits. Palm readers normally check the following properties of the palm for their reading, before consulting the palm reading chart.

Shape of the Hands The shape of hands is the first thing that is noted and depending on the shape of your hand you could have a earth, fire, air or water element hand. See table below for elaboration.

Hand Type Earth Hand skin

Hand Shape Broad square fingers and palms, with rough

Fire Hand Square or rectangular palms with pink skin or flushed skin Air Hand Long fingers with square or rectangular palms and dry skin Water Hand Short oval shaped palms with long flexible

conical fingers

Lines on the Palm The lines on the palm are used to determine the future or personality traits of an individual. The three main lines that are considered are the head line, the heart line and the life line (see the detailed palm reading diagram) while reading a palm. The table below gives complete details on the major lines on the palm and how they can be interpreted on the palm reading chart. Along with these major lines a few minor lines are also viewed including the marriage and lifeline, travel lines and the girdle of Venus.
