Introduction
Purpose
YTV MP3 Player is a typical application of a Windows desktop system which enables us to record, clip and play audio files. User can use it to record audio from microphone and use it for his ring phone, store
audio note etc.

It describes the entire requirement in a lucid way. Particular conventions are not followed.

Document is intended for all the students and Professors of Institution. The SRS describe all the component of the system and all the functional/non functional requirements.

Project Scope
Since MP3 is a general desktop application which is easily available in market and also most common. Applications like this are handy in use and need no extra knowledge to be operated upon. Also, many of the mp3 players available in market are open source; therefore, such applications will be easily available. But these open source mp3 players have limited features therefore we are providing basic features along with some extended useful functionality.

This YTV MP3 Player is a typical application of a Windows desktop system which enables us to record, clip and play audio files. This application is build by taking reference to different mp3 players, sound
recorders and mp3 cutters available in open source market.

System Features
This application includes playing mp3 files, recording audio clips and clipping audio files.

PLAY MP3
3.1.1 Description This feature of this application enables us to play mp3 files along with different sound effects and volume level. 3.1.2 Stimulus/Response Sequences Mp3 files can be added to playlist by choosing it from directory, dragging, and by default it loads from default directory.

Functional Requirements Mp3 files must be present physically in the hard disk for playing. System compatible speakers must be required for playing mp3 files.

RECORD AUDIO
3.2.1 Description This feature of this application enables us to record audio from integrated microphone. 3.2.2 Stimulus/Response Sequences User can record audio files from first selecting the record option from menu and then pressing the record button. 3.2.3 Functional Requirements Directory where audio files are stored must be present physically in hard disk. System compatible microphone must be required for recording audio files.

CLIP AUDIO
3.3.1 Description This feature of this application enables us to clip audio files and can be used for ringtone, alarm tone. 3.3.2 Stimulus/Response Sequences User can clip audio files from first selecting the clip option from menu and then selecting the region of audio file to be clipped and pressing the clip button.

After clipping is done clipped file is saved in default directory. 3.3.3 Functional Requirements Directory where clipped audio files are stored must be present physically in hard disk.

System compatible microphone and speakers must be required for this application.

Software Interfaces
SQL Server 2005 will be required for storing playlist information like directory path of mp3 file, artist, genre, album etc

Application may stop working when we try to play the file which doesnt exist in the physical storage. Whenever application stop working shut it down and restarts again.
