Tg is the point at which the resin is no longer solid but becomes a highly viscous liquid, i.e. significant reduction in both stiffness and 0 strength. Operating temperature must be 20 C lower the Tg

The hardness of the resin is a measure of the state of cure. It should be used as a QA check during installation

SHORT-TERM PIPE SPOOL SURVIVAL TEST A 4 NB spool was manufactured with a defect simulating external corrosion with an axial length of 2 pipe diameters and circumferential width of one quarter of the pipe diameter. The depth of the defect was 80% of the nominal thickness of the undamaged pipe. This test is in accordance with ISO/TS 24817 and the repair was designed according to this standards. Both test spools reached the calculation survival test pressure of 250 bar.

LAP SHEAR DATA SHORT AND LONG TERM DATA Lap shear tests (according to BS EN 1465) were performed to assess the short and long term (1000 hours) o durability after immersion in water at 55 C. The average short term lap shear strength was 13 N/mm . The average long term aged value was 9 N/mm . TM Therefore the average residual lap shear strength for the Technowrap E1 system is 69% of the un-aged value.
