OBJECTIVES The drug and drug delivery sciences are changing rapidly, thereby providing new opportunities and challenges to pharmaceutical scientists. Therefore, the research efforts in institutions as well as in R&D sections of pharmaceutical industries should emphasize onto the newer technologies. The purpose of this conference is to share and disseminate knowledge amongst the participants and to enrich themselves with the innovative ideas in this field. ABOUT THE INSTITUTION Gupta College of Technological Sciences (GCTS) is a pioneer professional pharma institution in Indian pharma education. It was established in the year 2000 under Trinity Trust and today there are more than 350 students pursuing different courses of their choice at both B.PHARM and M.PHARM programme. In the last 12 years GCTS has reached to new heights through imparting high quality of education & producing pharmacy professionals for the benefit of mankind. The institution is located at the heart of the town of Asansol on G.T. Road about 1 km from railway station and almost equally distant from the main bus stand, but yet in a quiet and peaceful surrounding.

To achieve excellence in innovative pharmacy education by discovering remedies provided by mother - nature through scholarly research, service to society and profession thus improve the healthcare of the urban and rural community. 2. To believe in serving community to promote wellness, respect diversity and ease of effects

of disease and disability for all. 3. To work with other academic institution, community agencies, patient organizations and

national and local association to foster collaboration. CALL FOR RESEARCH PAPERS The scientific service committee has great pleasure in inviting you to submit findings of your original researcg work for presentation in scientific sessions covering all aspects of Pharmaceutical education & research during the conference. The paper will be considered for presentation in poster session and also in oral session. The papers will be selected by a panel of experts. Please send abstracts of your paper to us on or before 20th March 2012 at

pharmascitech@gmail.com.

Hard copies of abstracts will not be entertained. The best paper from each session will be awarded. For any queries or communication please contact: Mr. Sankhadip Bose, (09932641201). Note: 1. Abstract should not exceed 250 words. It should be a MS Word document (97-2003 format), typed in Times New Roman with font size 12 and double spaced. Title should be BOLD and 12 font sized. Authors name and affiliation should be normal and 12 font sized. Give an asterisk (*) to the presenting author. 2. The size of the poster should be 4 ft in Height & 3 ft in Width. 3.
