CADBURY

1. RESELLERS Resellers are distribution channel firms that help the company find customers or make sale to them. These include retailers, wholesalers and retailers, who buy and resell merchandise. Cadbury Schweppes sells a wide variety of beverages in the US including brands like Seven-Up, Dr. Pepper, Snapple, Motts, Hawaiian Punch, Canada Dry and A&W. The company is looking for ways to go beyond the normal web offerings of online coupons, and they want to create real value for their retail partners -- using the internet to drive customers to those retailers. I. RETAILERS

Cadbury wants to focus their efforts on their top retail channels in the US, like Kroger, Safeway, Food Lion, Albertson, Stop & Shop, Wal-Mart, McDonalds, YUM, 7-Eleven, CVS. The key goal is to find ways to use Cadbury Schweppes brands as an asset to bring shoppers into the stores (not just to buy Cadbury Schweppes drinks). The ideal project drives more interest in getting shoppers into retail partners, increasing the overall amount of consumer spending. Wal-Mart is looking to its supply chain to cut costs in 2010, and has estimated that it could make savings of between 5-15%, or 2bn7.4bn, by globalising its purchasing. According to the Financial Times, the move is part of the retail giant's efforts to increase the proportion of goods that it buys direct from manufacturers. Wal-mart is one of Cadburys biggest retailers and with the good business relationship that exists between both parties; Cadbury has successfully been able to distribute its product to the final consumers. 2. PHYSICAL DISTRIBUTION FIRMS

3. MARKETING SERVICES AGENCIES

Advertising agency is a service provider that helps its clients by developing suitable ad campaigns for them. Their aim is to represent its clients' products and services before customers in such a way that a positive image is created in their minds. Cadbury focuses on advertising and prompting their product.

Cadburys have just launched a 6.2m campaign for Dairy Milk featuring a gorilla playing the drum solo of Phil Collins track In the Air Tonight. The ad was written and directed by Sony Bravia balls creative director Juan Cabral of Fallon London who was awarded the most creative man in the world. Rather than wet our appetite for gorgeous tasting chocolate, the ad simply aims to entertain. The advertisement drew more awareness and increased the profits tremendously for Cadbury. In India, the Cadbury India Limited chose Amitabh Bachchan as their brand ambassador in order to fulfill their objective. Their objective is to increase chocolate consumption across all ages of consumers. None but Amitabh can do this better as he has a universal appeal that extends to everyone from 6 years to 60 years just as our chocolates do. Again the love, trust and timelessness that both Amitabh and Cadbury shares with the people across India has made the partnership ideal. According to the Managing Director of Cadbury India Limited, Mr. Bharat Puri, Bachchan will play a key role in brand and product communication on television, print and outdoor media. The Dairy Milk Chocolate was launched by Cadbury in the year 1905 at Bournville, United Kingdom. As soon as it came to the market it became popular both in the United Kingdom and around the world.
