DETAILS OF VACANCIES: Since clerical cadre recruitment would be on State/ UT-wise basis, it will therefore be necessary that candidates apply for vacancies of a State/UT from which they have appeared for the Common Written Examination and in which they have qualified.

Introduction : Soldering is a process of joining solid components by introducing between them a solder (molten alloy) having a lower melting point than that of the base metal of the components being joined.The importance of soldering wire is shown by the multitudes of uses to which it is put. Soldering wire is widely used for manufacturing electronic circuits, for the joining of various components of television, radio, video cassette recorder and other home entertainment instruments of modern age. Soldering wire also finds its application in plumbing, making of automobile and air-craft radiators. In any developing country like India, soldering wire has very good scope, because of increasing consumers demand mainly in electronics and electrical. Properties and Characteristics : Soldering wire is a well known joining material and has been in a general use since long. Soldering wire is basically an alloy of tin and lead. A wide range of composition is used, the choice being determined by the particular application and price consideration. Soldering is a metallurgical joining method using a filler metal called solder with a melting point below 315C. Soldering relies on welding for the bond formation and requires neither diffusion nor inter-metallic compound growth with the base metal to achieve bonding. Uses and Applications: The uses of soldering wire vary from quality to quality depending upon the percentage of base metal. It is very useful in the field of electronics, electrical and other fields.Market Survey : Soldering is an old process for joining solid components. Soldering has very vast field of application. Soldering wire is used in joining various components of electronics and electricals. The required tin-lead ratio in which the solder wire is to be made is melted in crucible in coke fire furnace. To improve its quality. 0.5% antimony is added. The molten metal is poured in metal moulds. The metal moulds are just like wax candle moulds of size 1 meter length and 2 cm diameter. An iron rod of 3 mm. diameter is fixed in the mould containing molten compound. When the molten compound solidifies remove the iron rod from the hole followed by the pouring of molten wood resin. Then bars are removed and fed into the rolling plant where the diameter of the bars is reduced to about 5 mm. diameter wire is again made to pass through rolling machine where the diameter of this wire is reduced upto 2 mm.

process will comprise of: (i) Written test of 100 marks. The question papers of Written Test will be in bilingual i.e. English and Hindi. The syllabus for the Written Test for a trade will be broadly as that of the NCVT Examination syllabus for that trade and as per the functional requirement of that trade. (ii) Trade Test (practical) of 100 marks. The trade test will be conducted to test the skill of the candidates in their relevant field. The syllabus for Trade Test (Practical) will be as per Trade Test Specification of the Semi-Skilled grade of the relevant Trade. (iii) All eligible candidates will be called for an objective type written test. On the basis of merit of written test marks, candidates will be called for Trade Test (Practical Test) of tOO marks in the ratio of 1:3 to the number of vacancies in the respective trade. Depending on the number of vacancies, only those candidates who are qualified in the Common Written Examination for recruitment of Clerical personnel conducted by IBPS in 2011 and possess a valid score card issued by IBPS and rank sufficiently high in the order of merit based on the Total Weighted Standard Score shall be called for a personal interview in the ratio of 1:4 for General category and 1:5 for Reserved category. In other words, 4 candidates against one vacancy in General Category and 5 candidates against one vacancy in respect of Reserved category stipulated would be called for personal interview depending upon their ranking, as per Total Weighted Standard Score obtained by them. The Bank reserves its right to call for the Interview, candidates otherwise than in the above ratio at its sole discretion. 2. A personal interview shall be conducted to assess the candidates attitude, personality, level of communication, clarity and problem solving innovativeness, knowledge /proficiency in local/State language (ability to read, write and speak local/State language) level of effectiveness in computer operations, willingness to work anywhere in the State etc. to assess their suitability for the post. The minimum qualifying marks for the interview would be 40% for General Category and 35% for Reserved Category. Candidates not clearing the personal interview will not be considered for final selection. 3. Selection for the post of Clerk will be based on the Total Weighted Standard Score in the Common Written Examination conducted by IBPS in 2011 and marks scored in the Interview. 4. Candidates passing the personal interview (40% in respect of General and 35% in respect of Reserved category) will be ranked in the descending order on the basis of the Weighted Score obtained in the written test conducted by IBPS, personal interview under the respective SC/ ST/ OBC/ GEN Category. Weightage for marks scored in IBPS and Interview shall be taken in the proportion of 60:40. 5. Subject to the vacancies available under the respective category, only those candidates who pass the personal interview will be shortlisted for selection. 8.
