1. STUDENTS INDIVIDUAL GOALS Based on an evaluation of the students academic achievement, district, provider, and parent have set the following goals for the student: Goal Narrative: ADRIAN will be learning the mathematical arguments behind Linear functions and equations - Algebra. He shall be concentrating on the usage of concepts regarding about Properties of geometric figures - Numbers, Geometry/Measurement. Along with the aforesaid topics, ADRIAN shall be focusing on the studies concerning about Summary and analysis of data sets - Algebra, Statistics/Probability. Understanding the concepts of Numbers, Operations also a must for him. The student will increase their student academic achievement on the POST Assessment Test for goal objectives by 17% or greater. Student tutoring sessions will be conducted online (using computer & internet), all 7 days, after school as per students preferred schedule. Additional Comments: Problems according to the SLP shall be explained with examples on the white board. Sample problems shall also be given on the white board to test the student's understanding. Thorough clarifications on the theoretical concepts shall be given utmost priority. Students are expected to: Expectation: 8.2.E Quickly recall the square roots of the perfect squares from 1 through 225 and estimate the square roots of other positive numbers. 8.2.F Demonstrate the Pythagorean Theorem and its converse and apply them to solve problems. 8.2.G Apply the Pythagorean Theorem to determine the distance between two points on the coordinate plane.
