THIS IS venkatesh.i am a 2006 passed out graduated from jntu.

i got my 1st opportunity in source edge sftware solutions in the yr of 2008 wher e i started my career as an ETL developer.i worked over there for almost 2yrs. with a vision of improvising my skills .i shifted to CTS in which i am presently working. Total i have 3.5 yrs of exp in DWH using informatica tool in development project s. my roles and responsibilities are basically i am working with onsite offshore model so we use to get tasks from my onsite te am As a developere 1st i need to understand the physical model i.e dims,facts and a ggrs their relationship & also functional specifications of the business require ment. I involved into the preparation of src to trg mapping sheet(tech specs).which te lls us wht s source and target and which column we need to map to tgt column and also wht would be the business logic next we creating inf mappings,sessins and wrkflows using various t/rs to impleme nt business logic.preparaation unit test cases also one of my responsibilities as per business requirement.and i involved in the unit test cases to the mappings developed by myself.i use source code review for the mapp ings & workflows developed by my team members.once the rollout the production we also work with the production support team for 2weeks where we parallel give th e KT.so we also prepare the KT doc for the production team. coming to my current project currently i am working with ALLSTATE INSURANCE p roject.for all state insurance company US.now we are developing premium dm.ths dm is developed to consolidate data from 2 srcs one s relational db contains data related to cases,insured, premium,coverages,claims and second src as flat files The allstate company collabarated with other insurance companies to provide adit ional products(or) services to the customers those allstate does not have. The third party insurance companies sends data thourgh files.ths dm is developed for to serve the needs of group premium division. The main objective of our project is we are providing a sys with all the inf reg arding transactions for insurance domain of entire organizations all over country. we will get the daily transaction data from all branches at the end of the day.w e have to validate the transactions and implement the business logic based on the transaction type or tr code.we hav to load all histo rical data in DWH and once finished historical data we hav to load delta loads i.e last 24 hrs transactions captured from source system. we hav staging area where we hav load entire ODS data into staging tables for th s we hav created some ETL mappings.these mappings will truncate and reload the staging tables for each session run before loading the s taging tables we are droping indexes then after loading bulk data we are recreating indexes using stored procedures.then we extract all the d ata from stage & load into the dims & facts on the top of the facts we hav some materialized views as per the reporting requirement. CHALLENGES we are getting incosistent file formats so we fix that problems.when we carrying out testing we could find some junk data in the flatfile sent thourgh email to user which support to be the customers name carried from the s rc sys records from diff countries. The configuration of sys was not enough to use inf i.e to many problems to acces s dbs Developing new specifications: the specifications were incomplete or wrong so we had to quickly remake everythng.manage a team during rush time In fact my challenges came most b'coz of the functional specifications i.e:the t aables weren't loaded,the schema tables were missed and so on once table does not hav required values so we lookup for those values some anoth

er table. why do u want join in UST# so if an opportunity given to me, I can add some good value and I just want to follow up new challenges. I AM ALWAYS VERY ENTHUASTIC TO LEARN NEW THINGS AND IMPLEMENT IT IN A DIFF WAY. WITH THE SAM SPIRIT I AM LOOKING FOR A CHALLENGING ENVIRONMENT WERE I COULD USE BEST MY POTENTIAL IN AN EFFECTIVE WAY. ONE MY FRD WORKING IN UST GLOBAL SO I CAME TO KNOW FROM HIM THERE ARE OPENINGS I N UST. and they were saying UST major clients & employees are satisfied with the UST va lues& cultures so it would be greatfull to me that i can also a part of UST fami ly. CAREER GOAL my career goal is that i want to become A GOOD SFTWARE ENGGand my current goal i s to gain job experience and to IMPROVE my skills to fulfil my career goal. no doubt ill work hard for the upliftment of the company
