This modern gas-insulated medium voltage switchgear stands for economical and reliable power distribution. With its modular structure and digital control system, the compact system is the ideal solution for service in municipal and private utility networks, in industry and in public buildings.

ZX0. Perfect engineering for fault-free use.

In order to detect and interrupt fault currents, it is necessary to use circuit-breakers, and therefore also current transformer signals and protection relay functions. For local control remote control is available as an option the integrated switchbay control and protection unit REF542 optimally fulfils the requirements as the brain of a circuit-breaker panel. The positions of the switching devices are detected by inductive proximity switches. All switching devices with disconnecting and earthing functions are designed as compact 3-position switches. The motive energy is transmitted by a single shaft in each case. Maintenance of switching devices in the high voltage compartment is no longer necessary. Fault-free use is facilitated by the lifetime seal of the encapsulation and the unlimited switching capacity of the vacuum circuit-breaker. The demonstrated resistance to internal arc faults guarantees the safety of the operators.

The free choice of the optimum switching device for the relevant application ensures that the technical and economic conditions are completely fulfilled. The practical busbar plug-in method for connection of individual system blocks makes simple assembly possible. It is no longer necessary to open up the gas-tight units.

With its high versatility and adaptability, the system permits the combination of all variants into complete switchboards.

ZX0. Practically no limits to its adaptability.

Together with cable connection panels, which are always connected by angle and tee-shaped cable plugs with external cone, metering, earthing and riser panels round off the range. Up to 6 panel divisions form a gas-tight block. This is connected to the panels in a further block by the plug-in busbar connections. The blocks connected in this way form a switchboard. System expansions can be implemented just as simply, and do not require handling of SF6 gas.
