You may add other facilities, spaces or services that you think should be part of the health centre.

Week 1: Research, Case Studies and Hospital Visits

Part 1: Research For this project you will do detailed research on health centres, clinics and hospitals. You will collect all technical details from T.S.S. etc. You should try and find best practices from around the world and incorporate them in your design if you feel they will work with our local culture, etc. Look for new technology, inventions, ideas that would make health centres more resourceful, helpful and efficient. Part 2: Case Studies You will do at-least 3-4 case studies (International and National) and also visit 3-4 health facilities. You must look at both positive and negative aspects of these projects. During research viewpoints should be taken from all users: the staff, the patents, the visitors, etc.

Week 2: Research Presentation and Design Initiation Week 3: Design Development Week 4: Design Finalization Week 5: Design Submission/ Presentation and Report

The sheet size should be a minimum of A1 or 20 x 30 and all sheets must be identical in colour, size, format etc. All sheets should either be in Landscape or in Portrait format, not mixed. Proper formatting of sheets must be done to ensure clear and good presentation. Seal, border, lettering, North sign etc must be clearly marked. Presentation will be given substantial weightage.

Site analysis sheets MUST be properly worked out and thought out and should be correct. Irrelevant maps, redundant analyses, drawings and diagrams not contributing towards the project in any way etc shall have a NEGATIVE effect on your overall grades. Giving wrong information in a final jury sheet is worse than not doing it at all.

The teachers have the discretion to make any changes to the deliverables, deadlines, marking criteria, etc. during the project as they see fit. However, the students will be informed in-advance before the changes are made. GOOD LUCK!
