Court System of Indonesia 1.

Admninistrative Court Administrative Court is a judicial institution within the State Administrative Court based in the capital of the district or city. As the Court of First Instance, the Court of the State Administrative functions to examine, decide, and resolve disputes state administration. Administrative Court was established by Presidential Decree with the law covers an area of the City or District. Composition of the State Administrative Court consists of Chairman (Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Administrative Court Administrative Court), Judge, Registrar, and Secretary. 2. State Administrative High Court State Administrative High Court is a judicial institution within the State Administrative Court based in the provincial capital. As the Court of Appeal, the State Administrative High Court has the duty and authority to hear and rule on State Administration dispute on appeal. In addition, the State Administrative High Court also assigned and authorized to examine and decide on the first and final authority adjudicate disputes between the State Administrative Court in the jurisdiction. State Administrative High Court established by the Act with the province covers an area of law. Composition of the State Administrative High Court consists of Chairman (Chairman and Vice Chairman), Judge, Registrar, and Secretary. 3. Military Court Military courts judicial power is the implementing agency under the Supreme Court who served in the military environment to examine and decide on the level of the defendant's first criminal case is the soldier who held the rank of captain down. 6. Religious Court Religious Court is a judicial institution in the religious court based in the capital of the district or city. As the Court of First Instance, the Religious have the duty and authority to examine, adjudicate, and settle matters between people who are Muslims in the areas of: Marriage; Inheritance, wills, and grants, based on Islamic law; Endowments and Sadaqah; Shari'a economics.

Religious courts established by law with the law covers an area of the City or District. Religious Composition of the Court consists of Chairman (Chairman and Vice-Chairman), Judge, Clerk, Secretary, and the Savior Sita. 7. Religious High Court Religious High Court is a judicial institution in the religious court based in the provincial capital. As the Court of Appeal, High Court of Religious Affairs has the duty and authority to hear the case under the authority of the religious court of appeals. In addition, the High Court is also in charge of Religious Affairs and the authority to adjudicate in the first and final authority adjudicate disputes between religious court in the jurisdiction. Religious High Court established by the Act with the province covers an area of law. Religious Composition of the High Court consists of Chairman (Chairman and Vice-Chairman), Judge, Registrar, and Secretary. 8. District Court District Court is a judicial institution in the General Court which is located in the capital city or town. As the Court of First Instance, the District Court serves to examine, decide, and resolve criminal and civil cases seeking justice for the people in general. Court jurisdiction covers an area of the City or District. Composition of Court consists of Chairman (Chairman and ViceChairman), Judge, Clerk, Secretary, and bailiff.

9. High Court The High Court is a judicial institution in the General Court which is located in the provincial capital as the Court of Appeal on matters decided by the Court. The High Court is also the Court of first and final authority regarding the dispute between the District Court judge in the jurisdiction. The composition of the High Court established under the Act with the province covers an area of law. The High Court consists of Chairman (a Chairman and a Vice-Chairman), Judge, Registrar, and Secretary. 10. Supreme Court
The Supreme Court is independent as of the third amendment to the Constitution of Indonesia. The Supreme Court has oversight over the high courts of which there are about 20 throughout Indonesia and district courts of which there are around 250 with additional district courts being created from time to time. The Supreme Court is the final court of appeal following appeals from the district courts to the high courts. The Supreme Court can also reexamine cases if sufficient new evidence is found. Constitutional matters, however, fall within the jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court of Indonesia, established in 2003.

11. Constitutional Court The court has the same legal standing as the Supreme Court. Its powers, which are laid down in article 24C of the Constitution, include the final say in reviewing law about the Constitution, disputes over the authority of state institutions, the dissolution of political parties and disputes over election results. It also is obliged to rule on any attempt to impeach the president. The court is made up of nine members; three put forward by the president, three by the Supreme Court and three by the People's Representative Council. Its jurisdiction on the electoral disputes was first limited to the five-yearly general elections (such as the 2004 and 2009 general elections). However, since 2009 the definition of general election has been broadened and includes the election of governors and regency heads. Up till now, out of the five jurisdictions of the court, the main cases handled by the court have centered

around issues of judicial review, disputes on electoral results, and on disputes between state institutions.
