Who is Inyaco Management?


Inyaco Management was founded in 2002 with the aim of providing consulting services and a dedicated administration and management service to SMMEs. Since then the company has administered key franchise restaurants in the seafood, health food and fast food sectors. It has a portfolio of businesses with over 200 employees generating in excess of R50 million in annual revenues. The Inyaco team have experienced and shared every emotion with managers and owners of companies that comes with owning a business, including the 'highs' that come with great success, and the 'lows' that inevitably take place at some stage with any new business. Our Disaster Management Model, which is ultimately a targeted Turnaround Strategy, has always kept us in touch with the immediate issues and helped businesses in distress to overcome imminent closure. As part of Inyacos Growth Strategy we have recently employed and partnered with ex Senior Strategy and Innovation consultants from Deloitte Consulting, the largest Management Consulting Firm in the world. This extension of expertise provides Inyaco with 10 years of building new businesses for corporates which includes evaluating business concepts and supporting businesses through commercialisation. One of our consultants key projects has been as a programme manager for the 2010 FIFA World Cup having reported to both the CEO and COO of the 2010 Local Organising Committee at different stages of the project. We have also successfully implemented turn around strategies for numerous SMME and Corporate clients. Together with our team of highly qualified and experienced experts in Business Management, Administration and Commercialisation both in the SMME and Corporate space, we have merged the knowledge of hands-on corporate executives with that of SMME entrepreneurs.

Since its inception in 2002, Inyaco has grown to manage key restaurant brands such as Ocean Basket, Maxis and Kauai, with a portfolio of businesses that exceed R50million in revenues. We have successfully turned around some prominent but struggling businesses. We were also the first franchisees for Kauai an innovative health food brand launched in 2002.

Corporate Consulting

Our members have combined experience of more than 8 years as part of an elite team of consultants at Deloitte Consulting, focussing on Strategy and Commercialisation Projects for large corporates, delivering in excess of R2 billion in revenues for our clients with the new businesses created. We were also part of the Programme Management team for the 2010 FIFA World Cup which involved Strategic Planning and Programme Management to ensure successful delivery of the event since 2007 , and reporting to both the CEO and COO of the 2010 Local Organising committee (LOC) at different stages of the process. Highlights of activities included Development of high level Business Plans for all Divisions; Translation of Business plans into Project Plans and detailed Operational Plans; Venue level planning and execution at all venues across the country. Focus areas included Risk Management, Transport & Logistics, Hospitality & Accommodation, IT&T , Marketing and HR to name a few.
