A Special Note To: Members

It only takes one hour (or less) a week to pick up trash outside our building. It would be nice if 4 people would choose to do it each month. Then we would 1 actually have a Property Clean-up Crew! Just 1 hour a month is all it would take on your part...consider it, please. Sign-up sheet is on Bulletin Board or call the office: 845-4600. *See Tom Harris with any questions.

Deacon of the Week: Ken Lane 434.525.0724

Many times we are asked, Who is my deacon? To help you, we will list the Deacon of the Week and his list of families in the WLBC Bulletin ENewsletter. There will be a complete list posted on the bulletin board near the church office. This complete list is alphabetical by your last name. We hope this will help you know who your deacon is for the year. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the church office.

Perfect Attendance The church choir director was frustrated because at least one member was missing from each Easter cantata rehearsal. At the final rehearsal, she announced, I wish to publicly thank the tenor for being the only choir member to attend every rehearsal. Its the least I could do, said the tenor, since I wont be here for Easter.
