1. Hot to make a patient to be a donor

You need to open patient data (either female or male). You can do it by clicking Person-/Donor details button (1) or green area on the right (2).
1.1. Female donor In an opened window Person and donor information you need to check that patient is Donor (Ooc./Emb.).
1.2. Male donor In an opened window Person and donor information you have only one option to check: Sperm donor.

2. How to make a patient to be a recipient or surrogate mother

You need to open patient data (either female or male). You can do it by clicking Person-/Donor details button (1) or green area on the right (2).
In an opened window Person and donor information you need to check that patient needs Donor (Ooc./Emb.) or Surrogate mother or Sperm donor. You can check all three simultaneously.
3. How to use donated sperm

Donation of sperm is possible only for cryopreserved sperm which has a spermiogram. 3.1. Donor & Recipient Male patient has to be a sperm donor (see point 1.2). Recipient has to be checked as Person needs: Sperm donor (see point 2). 3.2. Donors spermiogram Create a spermiogram, fill it with necessary data and cryopreserve it. In the Sperm cryo preservation mask you will see new green area concerning donation. You need to check For donation. In the future if the straw has been already reserved for someone, you will be able to see the person here as well.

3.3. Using a donors sperm in a therapy 3.3.1. IUI therapy On OI-IUI tab open/create an insemination. And you need to switch to Heterologous tab. Here we have 3 ways to attach donors sperm. If a sperm is already reserved for this patient or if her partner has a spermiogram with checked Donated sperm then you just need to open drop-down list and select one (1). If you want to use donors sperm that couple brought with them you can create a spermiogram directly from here by pressing lightning button (2). New spermiogram mask will open with Donated sperm checkbox already checked. If you want to use a sperm from any donor, you can create a link from here by pressing plus button (3). The matcher will open where you are able to link a donor and one/several straws. And then select it in drop-down list (1).
Note: Red spermiogram means that it is still on quarantine (6 month).

3.3.2. IVF therapy Open Culture tab and after fertilization select (by double clicking) which treatment spermiogram you want to link with donated sperm.
After this follow the point above (3.3.1.).
4. How to donate fresh oocytes (1)

4.1. Donor & Recipient In donors Person and donor information Person is: Donor (Ooc./Emb.) (see point 1.1). has to be checked
For recipient Person needs: Donor (Ooc./Emb.) (see point 2). 4.2. Matching donor & recipient After you activate donation functionality in Patient data you will be able to see new tab on main screen Donor info. You can match patients with donors (and vice versa) from here by clicking on New reservation (1). Matcher will open.

On Active oocyte donors tab we can select donor by filtering (1) or searching (2). After we have found suitable donor we need to click on matching button (3).
Once weve created a link we can see it on main screen and even open (with right mouse click) respective person or therapy (if it exists).
4.3. Therapies You will have two therapies: one for a recipient, one for a donor. When you create one (i.e. for a donor (1) you need to select Only aspiration and check Donation (Ooc/Emb)) you can create second therapy directly from here by clicking on matcher button (2).
In this mask you can select which therapy to link. But as we dont have a therapy for a recipient yet, we can create it by clicking on matcher button (1) or by double clicking on grey area (2).

For a recipient you just need to select IVF/ICSI therapy and set a date. Reception (Ooc/Emb) must be automatically checked.
After this we can link therapies. You can see an icon (1) which says that these therapies are linked. Before the transfer of embryos is performed you can undo link (and link another therapy) by pressing matcher button (2).
By now we have linked patients and also 2 their therapies. We can proceed to follicle aspiration. 4.4. Donation In a donors therapy on Cryo/Donation tab we need to double click on a digit cell near Donate. Distribution mask will open.
We have already linked recipients therapy, so we just need to distribute oocytes and press. If we havent done it before in point 4.3, we could make it directly here.

After donation we can open therapy of recipient and continue cultivation. You can switch therapies with respective buttons. If a patient has more than one recipient/donor a message will ask you to whom you want to jump.
4.5. New recipient If we need to donate to another recipient simultaneously we can click on Therapy links button (in distribution mask).
In this case matcher will open and you can repeat matching procedure from the beginning but for another recipient. And then in the end donate the rest of oocytes to her.
You can attach as many recipients/donors as you need.

5. How to donate fresh oocytes (2) or embryos

Repeat the points 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 (but create IVF/ICSI therapy for a donor). 5.1. Donation In culture in graphical representation you need to select relevant oocytes/embryos and transfer them to recipient (Donate). They will be transferred to the therapy of recipient.
Note: if you havent linked any therapy of recipient, matcher mask will open where you will be able to match recipient and after this his therapy. To undo donation you need to select the cells you need to undo and choose Donate in context menu again. 5.2. New recipient If you want to attach another recipient to this donation, you need to choose in context menu option Link (another) therapy for donation(1) and then choose Create new persons reservation (2). Matcher will open and you can repeat everything for another recipient (see the point 4.3 or 7.2).

In this case (if youve linked several recipients), before the donation you will have a question asking to which recipient donate.
You can link more recipients if necessary.
5.3. Cell tracking After donation you can open therapy of recipient and continue cultivation. You can switch therapies with respective buttons. If a patient has more than one recipient/donor a message will ask you to whom you want to jump.
Or you can very easy track the cell with Cell tracking function. You just need to highlight one cell and choose Cell tracking in context menu.
And the cell you have selected will be shown in the therapy of recipient.

6. How to donate frozen oocytes or embryos

Note: for example you can fertilize oocytes with sperm of donor (see point 3) in a donors therapy to get embryos. 6.1. Donor & Recipient The person who donates oocytes must be a donor. The person who receives recipient. See points 1 and 2. 6.2. Donors therapy You can create either Only aspiration or any IVF/ICSI therapy. You just need not to forget to check Donation (Ooc/Emb) in it. 6.2.1. Only aspiration In Cryo/Donation section you need to double click on Cryo cell (1). The cryopreservation mask will open where you must check For donation (2).
In result we will have this.
6.2.2. IVF therapy In Culture section you need to select cells and cryopreserve them like usual (1).

But also check For donation option (2). 6.3. Straw reservation On recipients main screen open matcher (Donor info -> New reservation). On a Cryo donation tab (1) search the donor you need and choose the straws you want to reserve (2). Click on matcher button (3).
After this we will be able to see the reserved straws in recipients cryo area.

You just need to click on a small button at the foot of the mask to show Reserved material area. 6.4. Thawing therapy Note: dont forget, that recipients therapy must have Reception (Ooc/Emb) checked.
The last thing that we must do is to thaw the straw that we have reserved. For this we need in Culture area of the recipients therapy to make a usual thawing from cryo storage, but in the end select from Reserved material.
After we confirm the thawing, cells will appear in our therapy.
Note: Cell tracking functionality also works for frozen cells. You can track the therapy where it was cryopreserved. If you want to use more straws (or decided also to take straws from another donor), repeat the 6.3 point and thaw them in the therapy.

7. How to transfer embryos to surrogate mother

7.1. Patient & Surrogate mother In patients Person and donor information has to be checked Person needs: Surrogate mother (see point 2). For surrogate mother Person is: Surrogate mother (see point 2). 7.2. Matching a patient & surrogate mother Note: you can also match them from the main screen as its described in point 4.2. Create a therapy for a patient and check that there will be Embryo transfer to surrogate mother (1). Open matcher (2) and select surrogate mother from the list.
In a matcher you can filter by many parameters (Filter by:) or search (1) by name for example. After youve found someone you need, click on match button (2).

7.3. Therapy for a surrogate mother After you confirm in matcher a link between patient and surrogate mother you will see a mask for linking therapies where you can select one. If we dont have any therapy yet (like in our case), we can create it directly from here by pressing matcher button (1) or just by double clicking on grey area (2).
In new therapy mask you need to check only Surrogacy and set start date of therapy. Type of treatment (Only reception) must be chosen automatically.

7.4. Linking therapy of patient and surrogate mother After creating therapy for surrogate mother we are back in Link therapies for surrogacy mask. Now we just need to confirm the link. You can see an icon (1) which says that these therapies are linked. Before the transfer of embryos is performed you can undo link by pressing matcher button (2).
Now we can finish creating therapy for our patient and start normal treatment. 7.5. Embryo Transfer In culture in graphical representation you perform normal cultivation until the transfer. You need to select relevant embryos and transfer them to surrogate mother (Embryo transfer to surrogate mother). They will be transferred to the therapy of surrogate mother.

To undo transfer you need to select the embryos you need to undo and choose Embryo transfer to surrogate mother in context menu again.
To open the therapy of surrogate mother you can use jump buttons (1) which help you to switch between the therapies or you can use Cell tracking function which will open the embryo you have chosen in a therapy of surrogate mother (very useful if there are 2 or more surrogate mothers).
And there you will be able to perform an ET.
Note: you can link more surrogate mothers to one patient. For this just select in graphical representation in context menu Link therapy to surrogacy (1) and then choose Create new persons reservation. Matcher will open and you can repeat everything for another surrogate mother (from the point 7.2).
