2012 Diocesan Missionary & Development Collection: Completion of the Our Lady of Mercy Church in Nassrieh, Upper Egypt

This very poor community was successful in getting funding from their parishioners and international charities, but still need vital support to complete it. For this last step, the church needs to acquire 120 wooden pews, a wooden iconostasis and an altar as well as supplies for its total completion. The final construction of the church will secure survival for this vulnerable small community.

Each year we have challenges in preparing for the day but as the day unfolds we wonder what the worry was about. Thank you to all who give so generously of time and talent. Currently, we need a volunteer to complete the roster of workers. This role is to coordinate the schedule of workers for the various shifts of the day.
