COURSE OVERVIEW
This course is designed for Industrial professionals to have a thorough understanding of Bearings and lubrication in Industrial Plant environment. Upon completion, audience will be able to evaluate and select appropriate lubricants for a wide variety of bearing applications. For greased applications, this includes choosing an appropriate grease base, stiffness, base oil and additives, if needed, for proper operation. The audience will be able to analyze the failures associated with design and operational issues of Bearings and Lubricants and also troubleshoot common lubrication problems and recommend corrective actions. A detailed understanding of bearing applications and Industrial lubrication applications with operational understanding will be delievered. The overall course objective is to provide pertinent information to improve the performance of rotating equipment and bearings through effective lubrication programs, focus on reliability improvement of these important elements as integrated with Lubrication system in plant equipment. The condition monitoring, Failure analysis and techniques will be covered in detailed and help understand the effectiveness of Maintenance program. Modern six Sigma Analysis tools for failure analysis, predictions will be delivered.
