Psa 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. Psa 130:2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

Subject:

When my Voice Moves God into Action

This message (About God responding to my voice) is not an obvious Biblical Truth its a hidden truth. If God doesnt reveal it to you, you may read the entire Bible repeatedly and never see it. And this is one reason why we come to church so we can share Biblical revelation:
1Cor 14:26 (ERV) So, brothers and sisters, what should you do? When you meet together, one person has a song, another has a teaching, and another has a new truth from God. One person speaks in a different language, and another interprets that language. The purpose of whatever you do should be to help everyone grow stronger in faith.

KJV, GNB, etc. new truth = revelation In addition Ephesians 4:11-12 the purpose of the 5-fold ministry is: For the perfection of the saints To prepare the saints for works of service So apart from sharing new truth (revelation), this message is also intended to perfect you as a Christian.

First of all, I need to explain to you the Biblical meaning of the word and concept of voice: as intended by this message. The word voice most commonly used in the Bible refers to noise or sound. SO, in the O.T. when the Bible refers to the voice of someone it literally means the sound or noise that is unique to that person. John 3:29
He that hath the bride is the bridegroom: but the friend of the bridegroom, which standeth and heareth him, rejoiceth greatly because of the bridegroom's voice: this my joy therefore is fulfilled.

GNB: He is happy just to hear the bridegroom talk. So its not always about what he says but it is always about the sound that is unique to the bridegroom! The friend is happy coz he heard his friends voice!

John 10:2-5

But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep. To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice. And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

Jesus deliberately and purposefully used sheep here to typify His followers: WHY? i) ii) Sheep cannot (are not capable) of discerning WORDS and the specific meanings of words. But they are sensitive to sound! They ears are biologically designed to: a) Recognize different sounds b) Locate the source or location of the sound So, the sheep will follow the shepherd because they can follow his voice. His voice lets them know where He wants them to go SOMETIMES GOD WILL NOT GIVE YOU A WORD; YOU MAY JUST HEAR HIS VOICE GOING IN A PARTICULAR DIRECTION! This is what the Bible means when it says: Gen 3:8 And they
heard the voice of the LORD God walking in the garden in the cool of the day (They heard the sound that was unique to God)

iii)

This is what the Bible means when it says: 1Ki 19:12 And after
the earthquake a fire; but the LORD was not in the fire: and after the fire a still small voice. (GNB: sound of a low whisper - Elijah recognized it as a sound unique to God)

iv)

Sometimes, its not just what you say but that you say

When I talk about My Voice Moving God into Action I mean more than just God answering what I asked for! I am literally introducing to you the next level in your relationship with God, where God is moved not just by what you ask, but by the sound of your voice Ecc 5:6 Suffer not thy mouth to cause thy flesh to sin; neither say thou before the angel, that it was an error: wherefore should God be angry at thy voice, and destroy the work of thine hands? Here its no longer about what you say what you say means so little that God is angered by the sound of your voice!

Luk 1:44 For, lo, as soon as the voice of thy salutation sounded in mine ears,
the babe leaped in my womb for joy. (The babe responded to the sound of her voice)

Heres the clincher: 2 Cor.6:14-18 Why is God so concerned about us being His children? Matthew 18:2-3
And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them, And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Strongs Concordance: Properly an infant (By extension a half-grown boy or girl)

Why is God so adamant to make us infants before Him? Parents will know this: You are sensitive to the sound of your childs voice! I could be asleep among the noise of children playing. But when my daughter cries or screams or theres any anxiety or pain in her voice her sound will wake me and move me out of my rest it will move me into action on her behalf!

Psa 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry. Psa 130:2 Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

PRINCIPLE: WHY WOULD GOD HONOUR MY VOICE WHEN I NEVER PRAY TO HIM OR WHEN I DONT WORSHIP HIM REGULARLY (WHEN I DONT MAKE HIM USED TO MY VOICE)? Alain Walljee Page 3

How do you build that relationship with Him where your voice moves Him into action? Psalm 34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in
my mouth.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be
acceptable in thy sight, O LORD

Psa 66:18 If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me: (Compare with Joh 9:31 Now we know that God heareth not sinners: but if
any man be a worshipper of God, and doeth his will, him he heareth.)

If you can build a relationship with God where God knows that when you open your mouth He will be pleased then GOD WILL BEGIN TO HONOUR YOUR VOICE. Its a promotion from God just answering your prayer Its a relationship where all God needs to hear is voice not your prayer and God will respond hastily on your behalf!

CONCLUSION: There are some Christians here: God is waiting to hear your voice Coz you need to make right with Him Coz you need to reconcile with someone Coz you need to truly worship Him for the first time in a long time Church, God is anxious to hear your voice LET YOUR VOICE MOVE GOD INTO ACTION
