1.0

PURPOSE
This method statement outlines the procedures to be followed in the Geophysical Survey at the location shown on the drawing and directed by Client. This to ensure that the Geophysical Survey related activities are executed safely and in accordance with contract requirements and that all quality assurance/control activities are conducted in a systematic manner, works are inspected and conformance is verified and documented

SCOPE
The scope of work covers the Geophysical Survey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

1) Project Manager
The Project Manager is overall responsible for the implementation of this method statement. the progressing works are carried out according to the planned program and all the equipments required to execute the works are available as per the project planning and are in good condition. Co-ordinate with the company representative, Project Engineer, Site Engineer, Safety Engineer, Quality Control Engineer and supervisor for the safe and proper execution of the work. Specific attention to all safety measure and quality control in coordination with safety Engineer and QC Engineer and in line with HSE plan and Quality plan.

2) Site Manager
All the works are to be carried out according to the specification and drawings. Provide all necessary information and distribute the responsibilities to his construction team. Ensure and monitor that the work progress is in accordance with the required program and report the same to the Project Manager. Co-ordinate with the Safety Engineer to ensure that the works are carried out in a safe working practice. Ensure the implementation of any request that might be raised by the client Rep. Co-ordinate with the supervisor and plan the works in advance as per the work sequence.

Ensure that all the works are carried out as per the specification and the related procedure. Inspect and satisfy him the completed works. Maintain records complete for any future reference. He will conduct inspection

4) HSE Officer
Ensure the implementation of all safety measures in accordance with the HSE plan and everybody should be aware of it to work with proper implementation. Ensure all the implemented safety measures are adequate to maintain the safe working on the so Inspect all the site activities and train the persons to prevent accidents and its proper reporting to the Project Manager and the client.

5) Supervisors
To ensure that the job is carried out according to the procedure and good engineering practice maintain the details and reports. Periodically check the progress of work and report to the site Manager Permanent supervision will be covered at all time at site. 6) Site Operatives /Workers Workers are responsible for carrying out the tasks given to them in a safe manner, adhering to the MSRAs and using best working practices, follow all safe system of work and responsible for his own safety as well as others working with him. Competent Rigger Shall be Provided as addition manpower for any lifting and machine excavation task. 7) Manpower Requirements Foreman Charge hands Laborer Surveyor

PROCEDURE

1. Before the commencement of the work, all necessary permits for the execution of this job shall be obtain from the authorities. 2. Site drawing, MS & TRA will be attached with the permit and will be made available in the work location. 3. The activity area will be covered and protected by safety warning signs and warning tape. 4. Direct measurement of conductivity of groundwater and identifying the conductivity contrast of fresher channel water as it seeps into and dilutes saltier native groundwater. Decreasing groundwater salinity causes a decrease in electrical conductivity (or an increase in resistivity). 5. The geophysical remote sensing surveys were conducted by sampling at regular intervals along consistently spaced parallel transects. 6. The geophysical survey will done by the competent surveyor in the presence of client representative 7. Surveyor will be employed to set out the vertical & horizontal control levels & datum. Thereafter, site surveyors & engineers will continuously check for accuracy, and adjustments will be made accordingly. 8. After survey the surveyor will make full survey report and will submit the client representatives .

EMERGENCY PROCEDURE
LAYDOWN/OFFICE EMERGENCY INSTRUCTION

9.1

Alarming

In case of an event (e.g. fire), violation of physical safety and security, natural disaster, incident or other local hazard - stay calm, do not panic. Any person discovering the event is obliged to alert immediately: 1. Other persons in the hazardous area 2. Fire brigade by dialing the number:

When alarming by phone give all required information: 1. Type of hazard occurred. 2. Exact location of the event 3. Any injured persons, severity 4. Whether the situation is life threatening 5. Full name and contact telephone number NOTE: You should disconnect only after conforming the acceptance of notification. Proceeding In case of an even (incl. fire), natural disaster, incident or any other local hazard: 1. Stay calm 2. Stop all activities 3. Turn off all equipment 4. Do not take any unnecessary risk, fire extinguishers should only be used for personal rescue 5. Close all windows and doors, if possible 6. Leave the office using the nearest emergency exit 7. Report to assembly point outside of the lay down main gate 8. Wait for further instruction 9. Do not return to area for any reason, if not authorized. In case of physical safety/security violation. Do not take unnecessary actions, which may affect human life or health. Wait until arrival of the security. Every person, independently of filled position, must comply with given orders. The current supervisor informs the rescue commander about the status of the situation, hazard observed and any rescue operation taken.

9.2 EMERGENCY INSTRUCTION FOR SITE


1. Alarming
In case of an event (e.g. fire, explosion, and chemical failure), violation of physical safety and security (e.g. suspicious package, misfire, aggression, information of set bomb), natural disaster, incident or other local hazard - stay calm, do not panic. Any person discovering the event is obliged to alert immediately:

2. Proceeding

In case of event, natural disaster, incident or any other local hazard: 1. Stop all activities 2. Switch off all equipment 3. Observe the wind direction 4. Evacuate to assembly points (cross/up wind) according to your location 5. Wait for further instructions given by emergency controller. 6. All works permits are suspended. 7. Do not return to area for any reason, if not authorized.
In Case Of Physical Safety/Security Violation.
Do not take unnecessary actions, which may affect human life or health. Wait until arrival of the security.

Upon Arrival of Rescue Team Commander.

Every person, independently of filled position, must comply with given orders. The current supervisor informs the rescue commander about status of the situation, hazard observed and any rescue operation taken.

Note:
The operating company assembly point locations and contact numbers in the site will be made available to all the workers in the time site Tool Box Meeting by Hypers HSE Officer. The emergency action plan of the client in the job site will be followed and made known to all the workers in the time site Tool Box Meeting by Hypers HSE Officer 10.0
