Lord Jesus Christ, Son of the living God, You have said: "Let the little children come to me, for of such is the kingdom of heaven." Pour the power of Your blessing upon this child. PSALM 112 Praise, you servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord.

Blessed be the name of the Lord both now and forever. From the rising to the setting of the sun is the name of the Lord to be praised. High above all nations is the Lord; above the heavens is his glory. Who is like the Lord, our God, who is enthroned on high and looks upon the heavens and the earth below? He raises up the lowly from the dust; from the dunghill he lifts up the poor To place him with princes, with the princes of his people. He makes the childless mother live in a household, as the happy mother of its children. Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. Lord have mercy on us. Christ have mercy on us. Lord have mercy on us. In silence, say the "Our Father..." V. And lead us not into temptation. R. But deliver us from evil. May the blessing of almighty God, Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, descend upon you and remain always. R. Amen

V. Our help is in the name of the Lord. R. Who has made heaven and earth.

V. The Lord be with you. R. And with your spirit. Almighty and eternal God, it does not displease You that images of Your saints are carved or painted. For as often as we look on these images with our bodily eyes, so often we do consider the actions of Your saints with our mind's eye, and ponder their sanctity for our imitation. Be so good, we beg of You, as to bless and sanctify this image (or statue) made in honor and memory of Your only-begotten Son, our Lord Jesus Christ (or the most blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, or blessed [Name], Your Apostle or Martyr, or Bishop, or Confessor, or Virgin). Grant that whoever in the presence of this image humbly pays devout reverence and honor to Your only begotten Son (or the most Blessed Virgin, or the glorious Apostle, or Martyr, or Confessor, or Virgin), may through his (her) merits and intercession win grace in this life, and everlasting glory in the world to come, through the same Christ our Lord. R. Amen. (And it is sprinkled with holy water.)

BLESSING OF A HOME
Jesus, King of love, you shared in the life of your earthly home at Nazareth with Mary and Joseph. Bless, we pray, our new home and our life here, that we may help each other and those who visit us to grow more and more in your love. We ask this in your name and for your sake. Amen.

Let us pray. We humbly beg of you, God the Father almighty, to bless and sanctify this home, those who live in it and everything in it. Be so kind as to fill it with all good things. Grant them, Lord, abundance of blessings from heaven and the substance of life from the richness of the earth. Direct the longings of their prayer to the fruits of Your mercy. Be so kind, then, as to bless and sanctify this home at our coming in, just as You blessed the home of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. May Your angels of light live within the walls of this house, and guard it and all who live in it, through Christ our Lord. R. Amen. (Then the home is sprinkled with holy water.)

BLESSING OF A HOUSE
Visit this house, we beg Thee, Lord, and banish from it the deadly power of the evil one. May Thy holy angels dwell here to keep us in peace, and may Thy blessings be always upon us. Through our Lord. Amen.

A BLESSING OF A HOME FOR ITS LIBERATION

(Before entering the house and each individual room, sprinkle with holy water and say the following prayer.)
"Lord, we believe in the Word of Scripture which says: 'If we live our lives in the light, as He is in the light, we are in union with one another, and the Blood of Jesus, His son, purifies us from all sin.' [1 Jn. 1:7]

Therefore, we ask You, O Eternal Father, in the Name of Your Son Jesus, that any type of sin committed in this house, violating the peace and sanctity of a truly Christian home, be washed and cleansed through the Precious Blood of Our Lord Jesus who takes away all the sin of the world, dishonesty, hatred, and evil.

(Then, gather in a part of the house to thank the Heavenly Father in the Most Holy Name of Jesus, since all darkness and evil has left forever the residence. Then say the following prayer.)
O Heavenly we believe Therefore, and put on Father, that the night is ending and daylight is getting close. we want to abandon the works of darkness the armor of the Light [Rom. 13:12].

Heavenly Father, we want to stand up, to gird ourselves with the truth and to be protected by the breastplate of justice, with the shoes of the Gospel of peace on our feet, always firmly gripping the shield of that faith with which we are able to ward off and extinguish the burning arrows of the evil one. And we want to wear the helmet of the salvation of Jesus Christ and the sword of the Holy Spirit which is the Word of God. [Eph. 6:14-17] Holy Father, in the Name of Our Lord Jesus, we thank You from the bottom of our heart because You drove away forever all darkness and evil from this house. Lord Jesus, our Beloved Saviour, bless this house and each one of those who live here, so that the light of Your protective presence, full of love and peace, may enter and always remain here as a sign of Your infinite mercy! Holy Spirit of the Father and Son, increase in us more and more faith and trust in the power of the Resurrected Lord! Amen. Alleluia!" Say each prayer one time: Our Father... Hail Mary... Glory Be...

BLESSING OF A NEW HOUSE

O heavenly Father, Almighty God, we humbly beseech Thee to bless and sanctify this house and all who dwell therein and everything else in it, and do Thou vouchsafe to fill it with all good things; grant to them, O Lord, the abundance of heavenly blessings and from the richness of the earth every substance necessary for life, and finally direct their desires to the fruits of Thy mercy. At our entrance, therefore, deign to bless and sanctify this house as Thou didst deign to bless the house of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob; and may the angels of Thy light, dwelling within the walk of this house, protect it and those who dwell therein. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
