These days, going to college is almost a mandatory rule to get a job. If not a rule, it is really hard to get a job for the future because most jobs look at each person's ability through colleges: what college do we graduate, what grade do we get, and what internship do we experience. Thus, most students want to attend to colleges, but there is the problem which is the expensive college tuition. Each year, the colleges raise their tuition even though it is still expensive without any reason. Therefore, raising college tuition gives so many burdens to students and family, so at least colleges should stop raising their tuition or decrease their tuition. According to College Board, the four year public college's tuition and fees were increasing. At this fall, 8.3 percent of tuition increased comparing to last year which means that cost of full credit already passed 8,000 dollars. Also, if college students include room and board, it reached over 17,000 dollars per year. Moreover, even though colleges raise tuition every year, the federal assistance has been decreasing. The interesting fact is that the federal grant and tax credit is increasing for student to help students' families payless, but the cost of attending colleges and university has not decreased.

According to my research, I find that colleges keep raising tuition every year without reason. It is very clear that college raise 8.3% of tuition every year, so many students and family get burden to pay college tuition. From the Sandy Baum, the leads author of the College Board say that 'since family income has been falling for the last three years, college tuition takes a higher percentage of most of families incomes. It means that every family gets tired of paying high tuition. I think that colleges should stop increase their tuition unless they do support student with vale of education. On the New York times, it reports that president Obama wants to force colleges to decrease tuition. In my research, I definitely can see that most of colleges raise their tuition, but not reduce it in 10 years. It is true that college tuition gives so much burden to students and family. According to Census Economy average income of each family is about 40000 to 50000 dollars. However, the college tuition takes most of families' income and if family has more than on child they get so much burden to pay college tuition. Therefore, President Obama even officially announce that "If you can't stop tuition going up, your funding from taxpayers will go down." When I start to argue about the increasing college tuition, most of researches do not want college increasing tuition every year, but there are some opponents who agree with college side. For example, College Board make an opinion that the actual price the average undergraduate pays for a college education is considerably lower than the published tuition: first, in fact, in 2011 to 2012, four year public colleges charge $8, 244 in tuition and fees for in-state students. The average of surcharge is $12,526 for out-state students. Second, four year private colleges charge $28,500 per year in state students.

Even though it does not shows exact value of tuition, it is still gives burden to students and families. According to Bureau of Economic Analysis, the average income per family is 40584 dollars in 2010. It means public college tuitions take more than one third of each families income and private college tuitions take more than one half of each families income. Also, if each family has more than one child, they cannot pay for all the tuitions for their children, which mean students already get debt before they get a job to pay for college tuition. From the New York Times, it reports that average loan debt of graduate students is 25,250 dollars in 2010 and it is 5 percent more than the year before. Most of students go to real society with amount of debt. Moreover, colleges do not have only American students, but also international students. Those information which College Board shows is only for the American students. It means that international students also pay tuition and they even pay more American students. According to Education Colleges, it reports that all the international students pay 21 billion for the tuition and it is average 30,000 to 40,000 dollars for tuition. This huge amounts of tuition also gives so much burden to international students. Tuition should not be increased or should be reduced, since students and families get to much burden and worried about paying tuition. As we see the information that I show, it is very clear that college keep raising tuition in 10 years. At least, if colleges really think about all the students, colleges should decrease tuition for better education.
