About Our Business Partners

Why you cannot miss this event?
The rapid pace of urbanisation across the globe has lead to substantial challenges in the planning and development of cities. With 50% of the worlds population now living in urban areas, urban planners need to create sustainable, liveable cities and provide for adequate infrastructure to solve the problems of congestion, air pollution and aging infrastructure that could potentially limit a citys growth. Asian cities in particular are focusing on restructuring and revitalising their urban environments and blending in sustainability elements to ensure their efforts towards maintaining economic growth do not compromise long term liveability for their inhabitants. The 6th Annual City Development conference provides a one-stop platform for cutting-edge issues, strategic solutions, investment strategies and pertinent case studies in urban planning, infrastructure development and city management. Building on the success of previous City Development conferences, this highly anticipated event is an excellent platform to network, exchange ideas, seek business opportunities and tap into the experience of key industry leaders. Staying on top of the rapid developments in designing better and more liveable cities, this event will also feature an exclusive Urban Mobility Day on the 8th June 2012 to explore the dynamics of sustainable approaches to combating traffic congestion and increasing mobility within cities, address the shift towards Transit Oriented Development, financing of urban transportation infrastructure as well as low-energy and low-carbon methods of transportation.
