MAGNA COPPERTOWN SCOOP

Volunteer Of The Month
Dee Condor is a wild and crazy quilt maker! Dee spends a large part of his time here at the Magna Senior Center volunteering and making a large amount of quilts for young boys and girls at the Ronald McDonald House. He helps with putting up the quilts, tying them and taking them down. This last one that he made is one of his own creations with multi colored yarn to make this quilt stand out. He is very proud of his design. Dee also volunteers in making sure our bingo equipment is out and ready to go from time to time. Whenever you see Dee, he loves to talk about his time in the war when he missed Christmas Day or great story he wrote about his old flag and new flag. So next time you see Dee, ask him to tell you one of his great lifetime stories.

Come join our walking team for Magnas Relay for Life Aug 3 - 4, 2012 at Pleasant Green Park. This event benefits the American Cancer Society.
