Dismounted FREE is the only complete cold weather clothing system designed for the dismounted warfighter that offers FR protection throughout the entire system. Based on the form and function of the U.S. Armys Third Generation Extended Climate Warfighter Clothing System (GEN III ECWCS) and utilizing FR performance characteristics of the U.S. Armys Fire Resistant Environmental Ensemble (FREE), Dismounted FREE uses the latest textile and FR science to keep soldiers comfortable, dry, warm and safe in the most inclement conditions. Each piece fits and functions either alone or together as a system to provide the most options for the dismounted Soldier.

Highly breathable, moisture wicking light-weight undershirt and drawers constructed with DRIFIRE material. Crewneck undershirt features a contoured long tail in the back and thumb holes in the sleeves to aid in donning multiple layers of clothing. The drawers feature an elastic waistband and access fly. Highly breathable, moisture wicking mid-weight shirt and drawers constructed with Polartec Thermal FR grid material which offers stretch to allow for increased comfort during movement. Long sleeve collared shirt features thumb holes to aid in donning multiple layers. Drawers feature an elastic waistband and access fly. Color: Desert Sand

HigH-Loft fLeece Jacket

Constructed with Polartec Thermal FR double high loft material which creates air pockets that trap air to retain body heat providing outstanding warmth without weight. Features a center front opening backed by a wind protection flap, stretch FR grid fleece side panels, side pockets, two internal upper chest pockets and nylon reinforcements at the shoulders, collar, and elbows. Durable and breathable jacket and trousers constructed with inherently fire resistant fabric made with DuPont Nomex brand fiber to improve FR protection and survivability while resisting penetration by water. Jacket features a center front opening with wind protection flap, a collar with cover for an enclosed collapsible hood, and two front pockets. Trousers feature a zippered fly opening, front and side cargo pockets, callf-high sidezippers with elastic cuff, and elastic waist with provisions for suspenders. Color: OCP, UCP

Windproof, waterproof, and extremely breathable jacket and trousers constructed with GORE PRYAD FR technology offering an optimal combination of thermal/flashover burn protection, environmental protection, and comfort. Hard shell jacket and trousers are completely waterproof and feature sealed seams throughout as well as reinforced knees and elbows. Trousers feature pass through pockets, 3/4 leg size-zippers, elastic waist cord with adjustable barrel locks, belt loops, and provisions for suspenders. Color: OCP, UCP

Highly durable, breathable, wind-proof, and oil/water resistant parka and trouser constructed with Burlington Stealth shell material, Burlington Versatech lining material, and Burlington BodyShield loft insulation. The parka is a single-breasted insulated jacket featuring a collar with enclosed, insulated collapsible hood and two pockets. The trousers feature a front fly fastener, elastic cuffs, and a full zipper on the outside of each leg to facilitate donning without removal of boots or shoes.
