Breakout Session 1 Annamarie Lang, Sr. Consultant James Court, Project Associate: Both Annamarie and James work at Development Dimensions International, Inc.(DDI). DDIs Global Leadership Forecast is the largest and most comprehensive study of its kind. Over 2,600 organizations have provided perspectives on the current state of leadership in their organizations and future talentrelated needs. It is the sixth biennial Global Leadership Forecast DDI has conducted sinice 1999 and the largest. Over 1,897 HR professionals and 12,423 leaders from over 68 countries responded. Breakout Session 2 Ron Kubitz, Recruiting/Training Manager Brayman Construction Coorporation: Ron Kubitz has been instrumental in the hiring of over 250 individuals in his five years with Braymen and has also led the efforts to create Brayman University as their corporate standard. An accomplished presenter, Ron has spoken on the topic of Social Media to numerous professionalgroups as well as colleges, law firms and networking groups. His use of Social Media recruiting has enabled Brayman to reduce their recruiting budget by 50% while increasing hiring by 70%. Ron, a graduate of Duquesne University, has attained CPC designation and serves on the Professional Advisory Committee for the Project for Freedom Initiative.

Ron Kubitzs presentation will include a brief definition of what is meant by the term social media and will then focus on the social media tools best utilized by the HR profession. By covering social media tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Blogs among others it will be shown that social media allows the HR community to recruit, engage, train and communicate their future, current, and past employees in a fresh and cost effective manner. Social media is not a fad and is not going away and HR professionals must be at the forefront using these tools as part of an overall HR strategy for the betterment & bottom line improvement of their companies.
