The first time Bob Dylan performed with an electric band was at the Newport Folk Festival on 25 July 1965. Ballad of a Thin Man was written shortly afterwards. The song was recorded on 2 August and the album Highway 61 Revisited was released on 25 August 1965. It is said that the song is about a journalist, Jeffrey Owen Jones, who interviewed Dylan in connection with his first electric concert. Mr. Jones, who was an intern at Times Magazine, wrote after the interview an article about the harmonicas increasing popularity in American folk music. Mr. Jones missed the whole controversy about Dylan going electric. In 1990 Dylan was asked if it could be a single journalist who gave him inspiration for the song, he replied: There were a lot of Mister Joneses at that time. Obviously there must have been a tremendous amount of them for me to write that particular song . It was like, Oh man, heres the thousandth Mister Jones.

Ive always loved the song. Over the years it has given me an enormous amount of energy when I encountered Mister Jones in reality. In the Assange case, there are lots of Mister Joneses. Who talks and writes a lot. Who understand that something is happening but just dont know what it is. The aim of this article is to point out some of the thin men. But because there are so many, there will be several parts. For a start, lets have a look at the thinnest ones. The ones with male panic syndrome. One version of anti-feminism that has become much more common and loud since 11 September 2001. Rick Downes, Israel Shamir, Marcello Ferrada the Noli and the Flashback Community. To make it easier for you to understand how thin they are, I will use their own words.

In my previous article I showed that Rick Downes without scruples invents facts and fabricates stories. He boasts of having written over 400 articles about the Assange case. But that doesnt mean he knows anything about what is happening. It just proves that he has imagination. Some people claim that Rick Downes is a misogynist. I think he has is far beyond that. He is more of a male-supremacist. Just to show where hes at, have a look at his article Assange/Sweden: Lynch mob. In the article Rick Downes writes favorably about a period of Swedish history that in some respects is as dark as when Sweden had a government supported eugenics programs. The period is the mid 70s when the Sexual Offences Inquiry Report (Sexualbrottsutredningens Betnkande, SOU 1976:9) was presented. First, Rick Downess own words: At Expressen Maria-Pia Bothius became increasingly interested in womens rights and hateful of men. Sweden not exactly being an unfair prejudicial country, this was difficult. But you need something to make people angry if youre going to succeed. Bothius preyed on the navety of her readership and gradually assembled enough response letters for a book. The Swedish government were simultaneously working on a reform of sex crime legislation, the goal being to take the hysteria and melodrama out. A parliamentary subcommittee began work in 1971 and swiftly by Swedish standards were ready with their proposals only five years later. The idea was to look at the real circumstances behind supposedly criminal acts and see them as tragedies rather than something to muster up a lynch mob to take care of. Then Maria-Pia Bothius book came out. Called Its Your Fault, the book made a political issue of the claim that criminal victims are never responsible for the way things go south. The circumstances of a crime are to be ignored. If you get involved in a barroom brawl and someone punches you and you punch back, it doesnt matter you were provoked you punched, and therefore youre a despicable criminal. The public reaction to Bothius book was so intense that the parliamentary subcommittee ripped up their work, disbanded themselves, and let the government appoint a new committee. That committee too took five years to get anything done. And Swedish state feminism was born. First a comment to the last paragraph. Rick Downes believes that the Swedish State Feminism was born in the late 70s, when the Sexual Offences Inquiry report was dismissed by intense public reaction. A view that is his, and his alone. From Rick Downes writings, I understand that he is in favor of the proposals for legislation of the Sexual Offences Inquiry report. Ive never seen anyone being in favour of the commissions proposals for more than 30 years, so lets have a look at the commissions proposals. It is not until you know the facts that you can get an idea of how far out Rick Downes views are. In the late 60s and early 70s the problems of sexual minorities were debated. One of these

minorities were pedophiles. Pedophiles were depicted as kind-hearted and peaceful old people who did not want anything more than to give children the love and physical contact they were missing in their homes. Pedophilia was described as a cordial friendship between a child and an older man and the acts were in no way harmful to the child because the deeds were usually performed in an amorous way. Loving genital manipulations between a child and an elderly person is not in the least harmful to the children, on the contrary it was claimed. It was suggested that in fact it was progressive, if a child was introduced sexually by an older man. Arguments that are similar to the ones the Pirate Party member Dick Wase is making today. But he does not call it pedophilia. He prefers to call it intergenerational sex. Within RFSL (The Swedish Federation for Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Rights) a group called Pedofila Arbetsgruppen (the Pedophile work-group) tried hard to create an understanding for the sexual minority pedophiles. Their right to a sexually fulfilling life was the heart of the matter. In Scandinavia there were several pedophile groups who argued for pedophiles the right to a full and free sex life. In these societies there was no thought of the welfare of the children other than the expressed hope that the children would love to be loved and fondled by a pedophile.

Olof Palme and Lennart Geijer The Sex Offences Inquiry was directed by Olof Palmes Minister of Justice, Lennart Geijer. A man well known for his relations with prostitutes. A relation that was so intense that the Chief of Police, Carl Persson, considered Lennart Geijer to be a risk to national security. In November 1977 the so-called Geijer affair exploded in media where Geijer and other politicians dealings with prostitutes were revealed. The commission proposed that the age of sexual consent should be lowered from 15 to 14 years of age. The commission also wanted a milder approach to criminalization of pedophiles. It was suggested that if one could show that an underage child in some way could be regarded as active in the act the offense should not be regarded as a serious crime. The suggested penalty should be a fine instead of prison. What the commission wanted was to partially decriminalize

pedophilia.

Josef Fritzl, infamous world-wide During this time period incest was also debated. It was considered beneficial by some that the children should be present when the parents had sex. Sex play between children and parents was regarded by some as positive for the development of youth. The children who had an outlet for their sexual urges with their parents could better adapt to the adult sexual life compared to other children. Some felt that it would be a liberation for the sexually hard pressed mother if incest was legalized. Then the mothers role could be reduced to serving coffee in bed after the 14-year-old daughter and father had enjoyed themselves in sexual activities. The commission proposed that incest between adults should be legalized. Intercourse between a 14-year-old daughter and the father should be legal. Seen from todays perspective, one might think that the view of pedophilia and incest in the mid 70s was extraordinary. But these proposals were not the ones that created public outcry. It was the commissions view of the crime rape. The commission suggested that rape should be reserved only for the most serious crimes and that punishment should generally be lowered. The commission also suggested that the womans behavior prior to the crime should be considered. If the woman had voluntarily kissed the offender, danced with him or voluntarily followed him to his apartment it would indicate that she was in part responsible for whatever happened later. Something that is completely foreign to most people. Due to journalist Maria Pia Bothius writings in the newspaper Expressen the proposals were finally discussed among ordinary people. It had the effect that the commissions suggestions were completely scrapped. I do not mean that Rick Downes is an incest supporting pedophile who runs around primary schools in his hunt for young children to satisfy his perverted appetite for minority sex. I just mean that he is the only one I know of that is positive to laws that are positive to pedophilia, allows incest and regards women responsible for being raped. Rick Downes writes that the goal of the Sexual Offences Inquiry was to take the hysteria and melodrama out of rape. As if the victims of rape are exaggerating their reactions. As if rape is not an extremely serious violation of a human being. Rick Downes attitude is not only misogynist. He is far beyond that. Thats why I called Rick Downes a male-supremacist. And his attitude

to sex-crime is extremist. Something that is evident in his articles about Assange.

Israel Shamir a.k.a Adam Ermasch a.k.a Jran Jermas

Another thin man is Israel Shamir. Wikileaks contact in Russia. The man who selects and distributes WikiLeaks material to Russian news agencies and media. Israel Shamir is also the person who first launched the ridicolous theory that the women who reported Julian were CIA agents. Something that highlights Israel Shamirs inability to understand what is happening. To get an idea of Israel Shamirs views here are some of his words: In addition to her anti-Castro, pro-CIA streak, Anna Ardin apparently indulges in her favorite sport of male-bashing. A Swedish forum reports that she is an expert on sexual harassment and the male master suppression techniques. Once, as she was lecturing, a male student in the audience looked at his notes instead of staring at her. Anna Ardin reported him for sexual harassment because he discriminated against her for being a woman and because she claimed he made use of the male master suppression technique in trying to make her feel invisible. To Israel Shamir truth is not important. The story that Shamir refers to occurred 15 November 2007. The lecturer who made a complaint was Annika Lindh. Information can be found on the forum that Israel Shamir refers to, Flashback. For Israel Shamir the truth is not important. It is the smearing. To smear one of Julian Assanges accusers is perfectly ok if your name is Israel Shamir. Israel Shamir also believes that the accusations against Julian Assange is part of a general feminist conspiracy to deprive Julian Assange of his male attributes. Masculine men according to Israel Shamir I have no idea what Israel Shamir had in his pipe when he wrote this. How he can come to the conclusion that the reason Assange was reported for sex crimes was that one of the complainants supposedly hates men and dislikes Fidel Castro and his bearded friends with cigars and machine guns, Hezbollah fighters with their beards, Lukashenko with a mustache, Gaddafi with another mustache and Vladimir Putin without mustache. I wonder why did Israel Shamir not mention of Joseph Stalin with a mustache, Lenin with a beard and mustache, Adolf Hitler with a mustache, Israel Shamir with a mustache and John Wahlstrm with mustache and beard. These magnificent examples of masculine men who contributed so much to the world. But I think I know why. And it has nothing to do with Israel Shamirs dislike for Hitler. He just ran out of stuff to smoke. Israel Shamir appears to be a ridiculous lover of dictators who believes he is a real man. And as such, of course, is hunted by a global feminist conspiracy. As is Julian Assange. A conspiracy that is so strong that it turns Swedish men into homosexuals in increasing numbers. I do not know where on the political map Israel Shamir is to be placed. But if you add some quotes from another anti-feminist thinker it becomes obvious. The fate of European civilisation depends on European men steadfastly resisting Politically

Correct feminism. Indeed the feminisation of European culture is nearly completed. And the last bastion of male domination, the police force and the military, is under assault. There is no doubt that Israel Shamir is a male-supremacist. And that his political analysis is very similar to Anders Behring Breiviks.

Professor Marcell Ferrada de Noli

Marcello Ferrada the Noli is another thin man. But one with many words. On his Professors Blog he writes endlessly about the case Assange. Most of it is an incomprehensible mess of various conspiracy theories and attacks on the U.S., Sweden and the Swedish legal system. This mixed with the professors so-called research on the negative media climate in Sweden. Recently, the Professor has investigated honor-related violence. His research consists of reading an article on Wikipedia which he apparently does not understand. Then he makes some incomprehensible statistical comparisons to arrive at the conclusion that honor-related violence is actually a tale invented by Swedish State Feminists to smear Muslims in order for Sweden to send troops to Afghanistan. Professor? I dont think so. In a separate article, Ill deal with The Professor so called research. Lets look at the Professors comments on the Assange case, in his own words: The only certain matter in the Swedish Assange-affair is that the interests of USA rulers, the interests of the Swedish political establishment menaced and already hurt by Wikileaks, and the agenda of the Swedish radical feminists, indeed converge perfectly in this nasty campaign pursuing the political killing, or just the killing, of Assange. What I find interesting among all the professors words is this: neither is he Formally prosecuted for the crime,rapein the sense as it is commonly conceived in the world outside Sweden, namely, a violent act without partner consent. In many countries, including Julian Assange native Australia, the crime rape is defined as sexual intercourse without consent. There is no violence in the definition. The same applies to the laws of England and many other countries. And the European Court of Human Rights demands that women should be protected against all non-consensual sexual acts. The Professor reveals through his writing what he considers to be rape. He does not understand that he is in fact a male-supremacist who believe that there must be violence in a rape. Otherwise, its not a real rape.

The Flashback forum

Most of what is written on the Flashback forum about the case Assange is absolute nonsense. Loose speculations and stupid comments. A lot of comments are nothing more than poorly disguised hatred of women. Many writers seem to suffer form a male panic syndrome. Ass of

today, the Flashback managed to put together 3 236 pages about the Assange case with a total of 38 824 comments. Here is a link. Rick Downes is a true believer: True journalism exists in few places today and the past half year since the Assange case broke has proven the old media is gone and the new collaborative system as practiced by Flashback is the only way to arrive at the truth. Israel Shamir and professor Marcello Ferrada the Noli are also very positive to the Flashback forum although I have not seen similar lyrical comments as Rick Downes. The Professor is a frequent contributor on the forum under the signature LottaContinua. A Professor on the forum? Is this a sign that the new universities are on Flashback forum? Or is it a sign that the old Professor is just an idiot?

Similarities of three thin men

The similarities between the three thin mens opinions are striking. They invent facts and write long fictitious stories. But their tone of expression is different. The Professor tries hard to use many words in order to look like an intellectual. Rick Downes is content with a more vulgar tone. All three go on and on about state feminism. But it is only the masculine Israel Shamir who openly talks about the fear of castration. All three love Flashback. All of the have extremist views about women and womens roles in society. All suffer from what I call male panic syndrome. All three thin men agree on the fact that Sweden once was a really great country. I wonder at what time Sweden was that great. Was it before 1921 when women got to vote in general elections? Was it before 1965, when marital rape was legal? Or was 1975-76 when the Sexual Offences commission presented its proposal for a new Sexual Offences Act? A proposal that was positive to pedophile sex, wanted to make incest legal and wanted to make women responsible for being raped. I fully understand that the trio of thin men do not like it when we call them misogynists. And male-supremacists. They have a different view. They see themselves as really great men. Masculine and virile. Capable of great political analysis. Some with facial hairs. But if we value them for their expressed opinions they are very similar to extreme right wing nationalists.

Why does Julian Assange, WikiLeaks and Sweden versus Assange use thin men?
It is difficult to understand why Julian Assange and Sweden versus Assange chooses to rely on Rick Downes and Marcello Ferrada the Nolis made up facts and fictitious stories. Do they seriously believe that they can win public support by fabrication and misrepresentation of facts. And why the collaboration with Israel Shamir? By actively spreading false and misogynistic views Julian Assange and Sweden vs. Assange appear to be misogynistic and very economical with the truth. Something that is contradictory to openness and transparency.

Statements that are not based on real facts. Statements that are very similar to the views of Rick Downes, Israel Shamir and professor Marcello Ferrada the Noli. There is a big difference, however.
