The drab piece of fabric that | was left holding bore little resemblance to the vibrantly-colored silk that Thad envisioned using in my next art project. Thad been slaving away for two days, painting pieces of cotton and silk with the same technique using the same Procion® MX dyes, and the two pieces looked nothing alike when | was finished.
