Read on for insight into this dynamic duo! bby Jane Devt Detat of Golson Tuer uLinga Keashatt HE GREAT DYE EXPERIMENT SILK VERSUS COTTON at my kitchen sink watching in dismay as all of the brilliant color that I had added ran right out of a piece of gorgeous silk yardage and straight down the drain. The drab piece of fabric that | was left holding bore little resemblance to the vibrantly-colored silk that Thad envisioned using in my next art project. Thad been slaving away for two days, painting pieces of cotton and silk with the same technique using the same Procion® MX dyes, and the two pieces looked nothing alike when | was finished.
