Prof. MURRAY HUNTER 5.0 COURSE SYNOPSIS: Organizational behavior is the study of individual behavior and group dynamics in organizational settings. This course designed to equip students with knowledge and understanding on the importance of organizational behavior in various organizations. This course is divided into four main topics. It aims to help students develop a clear picture of Introduction of Organizational Behavior (Organizational Behavior, Opportunity and Challenges for Managers), Individual Processes and Behavior (Personality, Perception, and Attribution; Attitudes, Emotions, and Ethics; Motivation at Work; and Stress at Work), Interpersonal Processes and Behavior (Communication; Work Teams and Groups; Power, Politic, Conflict and Negotiation; and Leadership and Followership), and Organizational Processes and Structure (Organizational Design and Structure, and Managing Change) topics. 6.0 COURSE OUTCOMES: By the end of this course, students will be able to: 1. explain and discuss the importance of behavioural approach to management and describe the individual differences. 2. comprehend and apply theories and models of organisational behaviour in relation to a range of organisational problems and issues concerning the management field. 3. analyse the characteristics of human relations at work place to examine organizational problems solutions. 017-9323008 012-5162577 012-4131998 019-4485074 019-5233801 azlini@unimap.edu.my atikahnor@unimap.edu.my azlita@unimap.edu.my adianuar@unimap.edu.my murray@unimap.edu.my
