Style of Art Branch of Art : Artist / painter, graphic artist : Painting and graphic art Assistant Prof. Nuray Gmtekin was born in Izmir in 1966. She graduated from the Department of Graphic in the Faculty of Education of Dokuz Eyll University in 1987. She continued her masters degree and received it at the same university in 1991. She received her efficient art doctorate at the Department of Graphic in the Faculty of Fine Arts of Dokuz Eyll University in 2000. Gmtekin has been working in the University of Balkesir, Faculty of Fine Arts since 2006 and appointed Chairman of the University of Balkesir, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Painting in 2007. She received a third prize at the First National Watercolor Painting Competition in 2008. Her works can be seen at the Balkesir Devrim Erbil Contemporary Art Museum. Currently, Gmtekin works as a tutor in the Department of Painting at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Balkesir University.
