You can do more stuff with the trainers, but cheat codes will still wor .

What you need to do is name different guests on your par wit h the following names: Simon Foster - will paint pictures on a popup easle Chris Sawyer - ta es pictures of your par Katie Brayshaw - will wave to everybody he s ees Melaine Warn - will be very happy Michael Schumacher - will go faster on the g o- arts Tony Day - will become a very hungry guest John Bibrough - will increase par rating John Mace - will pay more for rides Free mone - Go to the Finances by pressing " F", then press ENTER + "M" for $5,000. This can only be done once a month for unlim ited amount of cash. (you can also get more money by downloading trainers). Richard Tan - Pic poc et One the main screen, hold 'shift' and type i n 'rct2', then press 'enter'. If done right you should hear clapping. You can raise your guests' excitment level by having them wal close to the ride s. You can do this by building footpaths close to them, this will also ma e them want to go to this ride. * If you are ma ing a big par , remember to build transport for the people, li e chairlifts and monorails. It will also give them a cha nce to see the whole par . * If you notice that a certain ride (e.g. sl ide) is empty, trying closing it and ma ing some changes, li e the color, and the maximum num ber of people allowed in at the same time. If the guests see a good bargain, the y'll go for it. * Try to balance your ride so it's neither t oo scary nor too boring. Guest will get scared and not use the ride if they thin it's not safe. * Try not to use sharp corners right on the first part of your rollercoaster (e.g. after the first drop), this is usually what raises the ride's intensity. * If your ride is too boring, try adding som e scenery around it, li e mountains, tunnels, water and trees. ause guests will usually get lost.

* Do not build large areas of footpaths, bec

* Remember to build lots of benchs for yours guests. They will usually use them when they are tired or eating something, li e an ice-cream. * Put the shop stall near the entrance, so g uests can buy maps and umbrellas in case it rains. * Do not charge a lot at the entrance at the start of the game, but as soon as you more guest coming, raise the price little by litt le. If you have a good par , you can leave the entrance fee as high as $40 - $60 and the gu ests won't complain. opular, is to advertise.

* Another good way to ma e your rides more p * All guest li e a good par , so ma e sure y ou always eep your par clean and safe. * Always test your rides before opening them , to avoid any trouble wth the guests. * If you want to see what a guest thin s of on him, and then you can chec out his recent thoughts. This wil l help you a lot, if a ride is too expensive, too boring, or even if the line is too long. * If you need money fast, destroy a ride tha t's not doing some well. * Remember that your guests get hungry and w ill eventually have to go to the bathroom, so remember to add those in. * You don't nescesarily need to have much ha ndymen as long as there are lots of trash cans around. New! * Handymen should not be set to go anywhere. Set them a place to go or they will waste time going through lines and they might bunch up. Rollercoasters: No doubt that what most people go to theme par s for is its rollerocoasters . Rollercoasters are the centrepoints of any par and it is important that they are the best ride th ere. POPULARITY Remember rollercoasters aren't popular when its raining. People are scared

your par , simply clic

PRICE Rollercoasters can be quite expensive, but this shouldn't eep you from bui lding expensive coasters. They will pay you off bigtime! You can price the rides high when it's new a nd gradually lower the admission over time to eep the ride popular. LOOKING GOOD Rollercoasters always loo better if they are confined to a small space, ra ther than spread out. You'll notice this in my screenshots. Also it loo s better if the trac isn't half a mile in the air. Ma e it return to the floor ASAP. Don't have a long straight 10 ft in the air. SCENERY-BOOSTING EXCITEMENT Adding scenery always adds to the excitement, especially if its an integral part of the ride. Ta e this example: A colosseum in the middle of a helix. It loo s good and adds to th e excitement rating. Surrounding a ride with trees or ma ing it weave through a forest is anothe r way to add excitement. OPERATING MODES Remember, a rollercoaster doesn't just have to go in a continuous circuit. On some rollercoasters, you can have reverse inclined launched shuttle mode or powered launch mode. Rev erse inclined ta es it up a hill behind the station and then drops it. Powered launch catapults it out the station at the specified speed. These are usually used when you build a rollercoaster li e the steel shuttle loop. Bear in mind though that these methods cost a lot more to run than the continuous circui t, so be careful. CRASHES! Avoiding crashes is helpful! There are a ways to reduce the ris of these h appening. First, ma e sure the train goes round the trac . If it rolls bac down the hill and hits ano ther car, you're in trouble. People will thin twice before riding that rollercoaster. I always only set one train off when testing. As soon as the first train leaves the station, clic stop. Most crashes happen when the station bra es fail. Building a raised station helps. ( To build a raised station, first select normal trac and build a hill to the height of the station. Place 1 piece of station trac at the top. Delet e all the other pieces. Right clic on the station and then build the station to the desired length.) Cre ating an upwards hill before the station slows it down considerably. Any speed over about 25mph and a tr

of riding when the trac is wet. A ride however which is 75% undercover ( i.e.underground ) still the people coming when its raining.

INTENSITY No-one will ride your rollercoaster if it is too intense. A rating of 10.00 or above ma es it unrideable. Keep the Vertical and lateral G's down. You can do this by ma ing larger ra dius corners. Try not to use the tightest bend very often, especially at high speeds. Slowing a trai n before a corner will reduce the G's if you really need to shave off a few. Loops almost certainly add t o the intensity. Going over a stndard loop at 60mph ma es very high vertical G's. The perfect speed for a loop is about 45mph for an 8 train car. 50mph for 4 or less cars.Try not to use many "Boomerang" ( American term ) sections. That is using loops to send it coming bac the opposite direction quic ly. eg. Two left half corc screws together. These ma e high G Forces. Ta en too quic ly and your intensity ra ting roc ets.
