But Seek His Kingdom
Matthew 6:25-34 Key Verse 6:33

But seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness and all this things will be given to you as well.

In this passage we can learn Gods faithfulness to those who seek Gods will first rather than seeking our own glory. Lord please help me to seek you first and put you first in my heart other than my family and things of this world. Help us to trust in you in all circumstances. In V. 25 therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink or about your body, what you will wear Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes. In this verse God tells us what should be our attitude as we struggle in this world. God is the author of life and God is the source of everything. Our life belongs to him and we are his final creation, and we are the best among his creation. And in V.26 it goes on Look at the

birds in the air, they do not sow or reap or store away from barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. This means that God knows every mans needs, especially his servants needs. God loves his servant and he will answer every single unselfish prayer that we request. If we are doing Gods work with a sincere and contrite heart, He will never be too far from us, and he is always attentive to our prayers. If we are Gods servants and we are still worrying too much, it only means that we dont trust in God. And he said in V.27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life.? I was really struck by this verse. Since my two babies were still back home I can not but to worry especially when I heard from my Shepherdess that both of them had an Asthma and they became sickly this few months. In addition their nanny had her holiday. Two days ago I call back home and our shepherd was saying that my children had grown enough and we must get them ASAP. They are our children and they are our responsibility. Because of this my heart is divided between my work, my service to God and thinking of my children. My heart wishes that we could already get them. But through this passage God had clearly emphasize that if we seek him first, all our prayers will be granted, He will give and provide what we ask for. God is the sovereign God the creator of heaven and earth, and he knows the best for our family. I pray that I may just struggle to prioritise and give glory to God through praying and reading the bible, and we believe he will give the desire of our heart.fI just pray that God may help me to overcome my feelings and again. Seek Gods will first.
