Subject: Economic analysis not associated with think tanks located in Washington, D.C. Web Site descriptions of your think tanks are printed on the opposite side of this page. My economic analysis is summarized below. Analytical premise and reference documents In order to accurately evaluate the health of our economy we need to combine Economic Science with Political Science. Reference documents are listed below and are enclosed with this letter (CPO is the acronym for Clarence Political Oversight). (a) Hold Politicians Accountable Editorial from Clarence Bee. (b) Our children and their Federal Government Debt unpublished Letter to the Editor. (c) USTB Deficit Spending Fund (see description in CPO). (d) Licensed Politicians Editorial from Buffalo News. (e) Rising Federal Debt Threatens America Editorial from Buffalo News. (f) Illusion of Prosperity Graph and associated Buffalo News Editorials. (g) Our criminally dysfunctional Political System (see CPO Issue #1, Items 11 and 12). Definitions Ignorant voter --- unaware that our Political System is criminally dysfunctional. Apathetic voter--- accepts our criminally dysfunctional Political System. Economic Science GDP stands for Gross Domestic Product. Political Science GDP stands for Gross Despicable Politics. Conclusions (1) Economic GDP is a poor indicator of the health of an economy, just as GBW (Gross Body Weight) is a poor indicator of the health of a human being. GBW can increase because of irresponsible eating; likewise Economic GDP can increase because of irresponsible borrowing and/or irresponsible lending (see USTB jobs and FIHI jobs in CPO Issue #1). GBW can decrease because the human is becoming lean and fit, likewise Economic GDP can decrease because the economy is becoming lean and fit (see CPO Issue #1, Item 14). (2) The cause of our Federal Government deficit is that since 1980 our elected Federal Government Politicians have been gradually transforming themselves into elected Federal Government White Collar Criminals. They have been financing their Political campaigns by making America dependent on deficit spending (see CPO description of USTB Deficit Spending Fund). The tactic used to sustain this financing is to prey on the ignorance and apathy of the American Voter (see enclosed Illusion of Prosperity graph and associated Buffalo News Editorials). (3) The perverted economic policies of Political GDP are designed to favor the wealthy (see Our children and their Federal Government Debt and Illusion of Prosperity Editorial). Published analysis by Historians has provided historical examples where these policies have created economic and social chaos. (4) Americans need additional education to properly understand our criminally dysfunctional Political System. Recommendations (1) Every high school senior must have completed at least two semesters of Basic Political Oversight. (2) Every college senior must have completed at least two semesters of Advanced Political Oversight. (3) Adult education in Advanced Political Oversight should be required for members of the United States Supreme Court, the AARP, the League of Women Voters, and the Federal Reserve Board of Governors.
