Proper Disposal of Your Old Refrigerator

Junked or abandoned refrigerators are still dangerous especially for children as they may get stuck inside the product, running the risk of suffocation.

Where do I Start?
INSTALLING

Check if the voltage supplied is the

same as that on the tag attached near the plug. The refrigerator shall be connected to a good wall outlet.

Important:
Never connect your refrigerator to
double or triple extension cords together with another appliance in the same wall outlet. Do not use an extension cord. That may overload power supply, impairing the operation of your refrigerator, and resulting in fire accidents. Use an exclusive wall outlet only. an automatic voltage stabilizer with power output of at least 1000W between the refrigerator and the wall outlet.

Ground wire (grounding):

(Plugs with 2 pins) For your safety, properly connect the refrigerator ground wire (green wire behind the product). Improper connection of the ground wire may result in electrical shock or other injuries. If the installation site is not provided with grounding, check with a reliable electrician to provide it.

Spacers (optional):
Your refrigerator is provided with 2 spacers at the lower back of the product, preventing it from touching the wall. That assures proper air circulation and the good operation of the product. Make sure spacers are positioned as in the picture before installing the product.

Explosion Hazard Keep flammable materials such as gasoline away from refrigerator. Failure to do so can result in death, explosion, or fire.

Leveling feet:
Place the refrigerator in its final position. Turn the leveling feet located in the front of the product so that they touch the floor, locking and leveling the product.

Location:
The refrigerator shall neither be installed near heat sources (stove, heater etc.) nor in a location where it is exposed to direct sunlight. Installation in an inadequate location impairs the operation of the refrigerator and increases power consumption.

Important:
To facilitate the closing of doors,
turn the leveling feet a little further, slightly tilting the product backwards.

When moving your refrigerator:

Your refrigerator is equipped with 4 casters to facilitate moving. If necessary to move the product for cleaning purposes, for example, unlock the leveling feet.

Doors reversal:
Your refrigerator leaves factory opening to the right. In case you wish the doors to open to the left, call a service agent or your dealer to avoid the risk of accidents. Door reversal is not covered by the warranty. This service will be charged.

By doing so you will ensure the good performance of the product. You will also prevent your refrigerator components from touching walls, other products or furniture avoiding unpleasant noise.

External heating: Fire Hazard Never place lit candles or similar products (oil lamp) on top of the refrigerator. Failure to follow this instruction can result in life or fire risk.

When choosing a new function, the function previously selected is immediately canceled; only one function can be selected at a time.

Refrigerator temperature control - WRE 48

The refrigerator compartment temperature is set by pressing the refrigeration

control key to the level you want. There are five temperature settings for the refrigerator compartment. Every time you press the key, the temperature will be set from position Less Cold (level 1) to position Coldest (level 5). Minimum refrigeration - level 1 Recommended for cold days, not much food in the refrigerator and occasional door opening.

Medium refrigeration - level 3 Recommended for normal use.

Maximum refrigeration - level 5 Recommended for hot days, a lot of food in the refrigerator, and frequent door opening.

There are still two other intermediate temperature settings, 2 and 4, which can also be used as needed.

Freezer temperature control - WRE 48

The freezer compartment temperature is set by pressing the freezer control key to
the level you want. There are five temperature settings for the freezer compartment. Every time you press the key, the temperature will be set from position Less Cold (level 1) to position Coldest (level 5). Your product is provided with an exclusive function which, when selected, controls the temperature of the refrigerator and freezer compartments according to the temperature of your kitchen and the usage conditions of the refrigerator (door opening and amount of food stored in the product.) To select it, press the respective key and the light signal will turn on, indicating that the function has been selected. The product will then operate automatically and you will no longer need to set the temperature. When this function is selected, there might be changes in the temperature setting. To cancel this function, just press the respective key again. When canceling the function, the temperature settings go back to the condition set at the plant.

2 - Party mode:
Your product is provided with an exclusive function to be used when your refrigerator is intensively used. It keeps the temperature of the compartment stable when there are frequent door openings. To select it, press the respective key and the light signal will go on, indicating the function has been selected. That should be done at the beginning of the intensive use. This mode is automatically canceled after 6 hours and temperature settings go back to the previous condition. If you wish to cancel the party mode before that period of time, press the key again.

This function speeds up the freezing of foods, acting in the whole freezer compartment. Every time you press the key, it either selects or cancels the fastfreezing function. When selected, the light signal remains on. The function is automatically canceled after 18 hours, going back to the setting previously set. Through fast freezing ice crystallization - between 0C and -5C is faster, minimizing food loss of water and keeping their natural constitution. It is, therefore, recommended to use this function.

This function is recommended to be used when there is nobody at home (vacation). The vacation mode keeps refrigerator and freezer temperatures at the Less Cold levels of temperature, reducing power 8

NORMAL NOISES
Some noises are considered normal to the operation of the refrigerator. Find below a table with such noises. Cracks Cracks are due to displacement of ice. It is the same noise of ice trays being exposed to room temperature. This noise is characteristic of the motor. It means that the compressor is operating. This noise is characteristic of gas expansion in the refrigeration system. It is a noise similar to the one generated when we inflate a gas balloon. This noise is characteristic of water flowing. It happens when the product is defrosting.

Importante:
Nunca conecte su refrigerador a
cordones de extensin dobles o triples junto con otro electrodomstico en el mismo tomacorriente. No use un cordn de extensin. Patas estabilizadoras:

Control de temperatura del refrigerador - WRE 48

Se ajusta la temperatura del compartimiento refrigerador presionando la tecla de

control de refrigeracin hasta el nivel deseado. Hay 5 niveles de ajuste de temperatura del compartimiento refrigerador. Cada toque en la tecla ajusta la temperatura desde la posicin Menos Fro (nivel 1) hasta la posicin Ms Fro (nivel 5). Refrigeracin mnima - nivel 1 Indicado para das fros, cuando haya pocos alimentos en el refrigerador y poca frecuencia de apertura de puertas. Refrigeracin mediana - nivel 3 Indicado para uso normal.

Esta funcin acelera el congelamiento de alimentos, actuando en todo el compatimiento freezer. Cada toque en la tecla elige o cancela la funcin congelamiento rpido. Durante su ejecucin, la seal luminosa permanecer encendida. La funcin se desconecta automticamente despus de 18 horas, volviendo al el ajuste anterior ese el producto si est encontrado. A travs del congelamiento rpido, la fase de cristalizacin de hielo, que ocurre entre las temperaturas 0C y -5C, es ms rpida, minimizando la prdida de agua de los alimentos y manteniendo su constitucin natural. 3 - Modo Vacaciones:
Esta funcin es indicada para ser utilizada durante la ausencia de personas en casa (vacaciones). Para escogerlo, presione la respectiva tecla por aproximadamente 2 segundos, 26

ALMACENANDO BEBIDAS Y ALIMENTOS

Recomendamos que los alimentos

Para perodos de ausencia corta, su
refrigerador podr permanecer conectado. Use el Modo Vacaciones (vea Cmo Operar los Controles. prolongada, desenchufe el producto y vace el refrigerdor y el freezer, incluso las cubetas de hielo. Deje las puertas abiertas para evitar olores.

En el caso que se queme la lmpara, sustityala siguiendo los pasos a continuacin:

Desconecte el enchufe del

tomacorriente. mejor acceso.

Para facilitar la limpieza, este producto posee estantes de vidrio templado evitando que pequeas porciones de lquido derramado vayan a ensuciar todo su refrigerador. Para limpiar la parte externa trasera,
use solamente aspirador de polvo o plumero.

Despus de la limpieza, conecte el

enchufe en el tomacorriente. Si es necesario, ajuste los controles de temperatura en la posicin deseada. debe ser hecha solamente con un pao suave y seco.

una nueva, con las mismas caractersticas, de 15 Watts. transparente.

Reponga nuevamente la proteccin Reponga los estantes.

RUIDOS NORMALES
Algunos ruidos son considerados propios del funcionamiento del refrigerador. Presentamos abajo una tabla con tales ruidos. Estallidos Los estallidos son debido al desplazamiento de hielo. Es el mismo ruido que ocurre cuando las cubetas son retiradas del congelador y expuestas a la temperatura ambiente. Ruido caracterstico del motor. Significa que el compresor est en funcionamiento.

Ruido del compresor

Ruido de Ruido caracterstico de la expansin del gas en el sistema de expansin de refrigeracin. Es un ruido semejante al generado cuando se llena un gas globo aerosttico. Ruido de deshielo Ruidos del sistema de ventilacin Ruido caracterstico de agua escurriendo. Ocurre cuando el refrigerador est haciendo el deshielo. Ruido caracterstico del ventilador. Muestra que el sistema no frost y wind flow est en perfecto funcionamiento. Este sistema garantiza una temperatura uniforme en el producto y hace innecesario el descongelamiento.
