5 TERRE CARD AND CINQUE TERRE TRAIN CARD REGULATION Art. 1 Subject This Regulation regulates the services provided by Cinque Terre National Park Institution with the Park Service Charter. Art. 2 Purpose The Park Service Charter, hereinafter referred to as 5 Terre Card, aims at allowing visitors to use the following services provided by Cinque Terre National Park Institution; it is also a form of self-financing. Proceeds from the sale of 5 Terre Card are directed to recovery and maintenance of the territory, as well as to reduce the hydrogeological risk and provide services supporting eco-friendly mobility within Cinque Terre. Art. 3 Contents of 5 Terre Card 5 Terre Card allows users to: - access pedestrian paths and park facilities; - use sustainable transportation in the Park; - access nature observation centres and the several local museums; - access La Spezia city museums at reduced rates; - use the lifts in Manarola, Riomaggiore and Vernazza for people with reduced mobility. The Card is personal, non-transferable and non-refundable. Art. 4 Types of 5 Terre Card 5 Terre Card is a ticket made up of a child card and a mother card (matrix card); it is marked by a progressive alphanumeric code. The following types of 5 Terre Card are available:

5 Terre Card for Adults (which includes the Weekend Card, Pre-holiday Card, Holiday Card, Weekday Card, and 2 Weekday Card) applies to people over the age of 18 and under the age of 70. 5 Terre Card for Teenagers under 18/ Elderly persons over 70/People residing in the province of La Spezia applies to: - Kids over the age of 4 and under the age of 18; - Elderly persons over 70; - People residing in the province of La Spezia. 5 Terre Card for School Groups applies to school groups upon submission of an official document from the School, which includes the list of names written by the School. The name of any additional student shall be reported in the abovementioned name list. 5 Terre Card for Groups can be used by groups up to 25 people. Groups shall submit the list of names upon purchase. The above Card must be filled in on the back, where the name of the group shall be written. The name of any additional person shall be reported in the abovementioned name list. 5 Terre Card for Groups allows users to use the transportation service (within the limits of the vehicles available at that time) as well as park facilities, when available. Group Cards are non-refundable and do not allow users to have reduced rates for teenagers, families and elderly people. Carta Amica applies to the following categories: Teachers, tour guides and environmental and hiking guides, disabled people and their attendants.

CARDS FOR THE OWNERS OF A HOLIDAY HOME Those who own a holiday home located within Cinque Terre National Park, can buy the following types of Card: Annual Family Card (for parents & children) Owners of a holiday home Individual Daily Card 3,50 100,00

The above Card holders have the right to access pedestrian paths and park facilitates only; they are not entitled to the services listed in Art. 3 of this Regulation. Art. 5 Exemptions and reduced rates The following people are exempt from the purchase of 5 Terre Card: a) Babies under the age of 4; b) People residing in the Municipalities of Monterosso al Mare, Riomaggiore, Vernazza; a valid document of residence in the abovementioned municipalities is required; c) Law enforcement agents on duty; d) Disabled people referred to in Law no. 104/92, art. 3, and their attendants; e) Registered journalists who are accredited to the Park Institution; f) Tour guides and environmental and hiking guides on duty, provided that the sites fall under their own area of expertise and territorial jurisdiction. Documented service activity, in the exclusive interest of Cinque Terre National Park Institution, guarantees free access to paths. The Park Institute will issue an ad hoc written authorization to authorized staff. Owners of the lands surrounding the paths included in the Park area may apply for a temporary transit permit. Transit permits can be requested also for their employees involved in farming activities. Owners shall apply at the Municipality offices where the above lands are located. Municipality offices will be responsible for gathering the necessary information and issuing the above permits, by notifying the Park Institution and surveillance agents. Starting from May 2nd 2011, cards issued for accessing the paths, and/or any other free card issued up till now are not valid any longer.

5 Terre Card and Cinque Terre Train Card Regulation

Art. 6 Validity Period The different types of 5 Terre Card are valid until midnight of the last valid day. Art. 7 Method of Payment 5 Terre Card can be purchased by paying cash, by cash card or credit card at the several Park Institution Reception Centres, as well as at La Spezia, Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza, Monterosso al Mare, and Levanto Railway Stations. Issued tickets are nonrefundable. Art. 8 How to use the Card The Card Holder shall write his/her name and surname, as reported in his/her ID, before using any service provided by 5 Terre Card. Once the Card has been stamped with the date, it is validated and it cannot be transferred to other people. If the Card Holder does not write his/her name and surname, as reported in his/her ID, and in the event of any illegitimate use of 5 Terre Card, the Card will be immediately revoked and cancelled. Art. 9 Inspections 5 Terre Card shall be duly validated according to the methods described in the previous article; it shall be kept by its holder until the end of the tour and, in any case, within the valid time limit. The Card and the ID of the person concerned shall be produced to inspectors when required. Card Holders are allowed to use the services provided by the Park. If the visitor does not have 5 Terre Card, or if he/she uses a Card registered in the name of a different user, and/or if the Card has expired, the visitor will be obliged to pay double the price of the Adult Card for that day. Art. 10 Liability limit Circumstances beyond the Park Institution (e.g., strikes, suspensions due to bad atmospheric conditions, natural calamities, terror attacks and similar situations) do not entitle Card Holders to have their Cards reimbursed. Moreover, the Park Institution reserves the right to modify, suspend or interrupt, even temporarily, any service for any technical/organizational reason and/or in the event of an excessive number of visitors. Also in the above circumstances, Card Holders are not entitled to have their 5 Terre Card reimbursed.

5 Terre Card and Cinque Terre Train Card Regulation

No refund will be given in the event of Card loss, damaging, or destruction or in any other event for which the user is responsible. Art. 11 Cinque Terre Train Card Cinque Terre Train Card allows users to access 5 Terre Card services described in art. 3, as well as to have unlimited train rides, in second class, on regional, direct and interregional trains between Levanto/La Spezia Centrale and vice versa. The following types of Cinque Terre Train Card are available: Cinque Terre Train Card for ADULTS, daily card Cinque Terre Train Card for ADULTS, 2 day card Cinque Terre Train Card for TEENAGERS, daily card Over the age of 4 and until the day they reach the age of 12 Cinque Terre Train Card for people AGED OVER 70 Cinque Terre Train Card for FAMILIES Family groups composed of 2 adults and 2 children until the day they reach the age of 12 Valid until midnight of the validation date Valid until midnight of the first day after the validation date Valid until midnight of the validation date Valid until midnight of the validation date Valid until midnight of the validation date 10,00 19,00

The above Cards are personal and non-transferable. Card holders shall write their name and surname on the Card. Upon the first train ride, cards shall be stamped at the specially provided machines installed by Trenitalia at the Railway Stations. Cards cannot be refunded. Children under 4 do not need any train ticket and have free access to Park services. Art. 12 Final regulations This Regulation is valid from April 18 th 2011.

5 Terre Card and Cinque Terre Train Card Regulation

Art. 13 Place of Jurisdiction Disputes which may arise in connection with the use of 5 Terre Card and Cinque Terre Train Card shall be settled at the Court of La Spezia.
