You can quickly apply the text fill and effects at once with the Quick Styles. Quick Styles are combinations of different formatting options and are displayed in a thumbnail in the various Quick Style galleries. When you point to a Quick Style thumbnail, you can see how the Quick Style affects your Wordart (Live Preview).
You can change the attributes of a Wordart, for example the Text Fill , Text Outline Text Effects and
individually.

You can change the Layout of the SmartArt graphic easily by using the Layouts style gallery. To see all the available layouts click the More button next to the layout thumbnail.
The SmartArt Style is a combination of various effects, such as line style, bevel, or 3-D, which you can apply to the shapes in your SmartArt graphic to create a unique and professionally designed look.

Create a new slide Title and Content layout. Click the Click to add title placeholder and type Recycles.
A New Slide is created with the title Recycles.

TIPS
In general, SmartArt graphics work best with shorter amounts of text. However, some layouts, such as Trapezoid List in the List type, work well with larger amounts of text. Any time you click away from the SmartArt graphic, the Text pane disappears. To close the Text pane, click Close in the upper-right corner of the Text pane.
