Family House
Golf, Belgrade, Serbia
student project
BRIEF
Site is located in one of the greenest parts of Belgrade, surrounded mostly with private houses. Idea was to use the roof plane and wrap the programme, making the house more private. Wrapping was also dened by site boundaries, leaving the courtyard in the middle. Living room is capacious and completely opened to the courtyard. Together with kitchen and dining room it makes very comfortable daytime ambiance. Visually connected with living room, located in basement, there is a library with a bar. From there it is possible to get to the garden or follow on to the recreation area. Private part of the house is distinctively separated, but also closely connected to every part of the house. Garage and studio are only spaces oriented towards the street, also separated visually from the other parts of the house.

Proposal for a new BMW showroom in Belgrade followed the idea of translating industrial into architectural design. Inspiration was found in Gina, new BMW concept model whose body has been reduced to just one envelop braced on construction frames. Powerful appearance of building has a direct aesthetic analogy to cognizable BMW design. Spacious showroom interior is dominated with white construction skeleton, that gives the feeling of weightlessness of the object envelope. Besides the showroom, on the ground oor there is a store and depository space. Upper oor contains administration and cafe which oats above exhibition space.

Creative city
Arts and culture center Ada Huja, Belgrade, Serbia
3rd year undergraduate project
BRIEF
The idea for the project comes with growing demands of a emerging creative class residing in the block. To provide a space where they can educate, create, present and sell their art pieces, and at the same time enjoying the comfort that this cultural center offers. Pedestrian corridors are cutting the building in four units, clearly linked by network of communications that are one of key motifs utilized in shaping the building. The ground oor of the largest part is a spacious hall for the exhibition of sculptures, visually open to the park which is also exhibition space. Upstairs is the second part of the gallery and cinema, while the top of the building houses cafe-bookstore which can be accessed from the gallery, as well as directly from the park. The second part of the building is a library, connected to the gallery trough administrative ofces. The large open space represents art bazaar - a place where artists can sell their works on the more informal way. In the galleries, there is a large service workshop, and three pavilions with the same purpose are distributed within a block. Tectonic purpose of the building is to preserve public space. All roof surfaces are accessible and are part of the park, making the ambient exciting and interesting.

Hotel is situated on mountain Durmitor, in Zabljak, Montenegro. The task was to rebuild an old hotel, extending the capacities and adding a new program to suit luxury standards and conference needs. New geometry and volume con guration is based upon terrain topography, because the idea was to integrate new hotel in to surroundings. Room orientation study led to three-way organization of layout. Main hotel entrance is orientated towards the road, and next to it is a secondary entrance, leading to the basement oor with ski depot and services. Main entrance to the basement level is positioned on the hotel backside so non-guests can directly access recreation and entertainment area situated in basement. Detached apartments with car access are providing more private stay, with all bene ts of hotel services. Congress area with discrete entrance can function separately and has a good connection to main hotel restaurant. The other restaurant is positioned on the last oor and outlooks surroundings.

BRIEF
The program is housed in a "membrane" at the edge of the plot and clearly divided into three parts - educational units, specialized workshops and spaces for exercise, and part with the studios with the possibility of residence, intended for implementation of individual projects. Space in the "membrane" is intended to be exhibition area, and for achieving continuity of the space it is divided on semi levels connected with docks and multifunctional stairs. Ground oor and basement are organized in the way that after closing time of the center they can operate independently. Within them there is a gallery, cinema, concept store and garage, and there is access to and from the park through an underground passage. Structural facade of the building is designed so that its form and system of openings appropriately regulate the penetration of light and noise from the environment.
