You are invited to attend the first edition of BALKAN VENTURE FORUM to be held on 3-4 November, 2011 in Skopje, Macedonia. BKVF is an Investment Forum targeted at showcasing the Balkans best entrepreneurs to an audience of top-tier international venture capital and corporate investors. Approx. 30 top innovative companies from the Balkans will be selected to the Forum, and at least 30 to 40 international investors and advisors. The BKVF will also be promoted as European Venture Contest Semi-Final and the top 25% companies from the BKVF will be selected for the European Venture Summit which will take place in Dsseldorf in December 2011. The main strategic partner and co-organizer is Europe Unlimited, the leading venture event organizer and VC network in Europe. The Balkan Venture Forum aims at replicating the success of the Nordic Venture Forum in Scandinavia, and the Benelux Venture Forum in the Benelux, etc all deployed by Europe Unlimited, which are already going on the 10th edition, acknowledging the success and impact that these events have had in fostering innovation and venture capital investments in these regions of Europe.

How to participate
Entrepreneurs are invited to apply for the official pitching competition. The top 24 entrepreneurs selected for the competition also receive a free delegate pass. For other attendees the participation in the event is invitation-only and a registration fee is required. Delegate fee As a delegate you will attend the gala dinner, networking and cocktails, expert panels, workshops, pitching sessions, One2One matchmaking meetings and the Innovation fair. Early registration fee (by Sept 15) Standard registration fee (by Oct 15) Late registration fee (after Oct 15) Innovation fair exhibitors The Innovation fair is an integrated activity within the Balkan Venture Forum. We invite innovators, business clusters and financing institutions to promote their offerings before top-level international and regional attendees. All networking coffee breaks, lunch breaks and cocktails will take place in the same space as the innovation fair, for the purpose of creating a comfortable and effective networking and exhibition space. Space is limited to 30 exhibitors. Promotional slides or animations from all exhibitors will also be displayed on a main LCD projector. Innovation fair participation includes booth rental and a free delegate pass.
