Excellent specimen Huge tree. Excellent specimen Possibly the largest specimen in Salem/Keizer area This tree was developed by Keizer resident and nurseryman Bill Ferrill about 60-70 years ago. Excellent deciduous conifer. Not many around. This may be the only one in Keizer. Grows in southern Oregon. This may be the only specimen outside of southern Oregon. Nice specimen. Huge cones. Woodier than pine cones. Very old tree. Perhaps 100 years old. Verda specimen may be oldest tree in Keizer Many planted together. Perhaps a school planting project? This is an unusual tree a character tree. Good sized. Only one other in Salem/Keizer area that may be larger. Great specimen. Many being planted around the city. This palm does well in this area.
