Space Exploration Contract Project

You are going to start a contract project with your group. There are several activities for you to choose from, each with different point values. You will choose activities to do up to 100 points and sign a contract that those are the activities you are going to do. You are going to explor outer space and these projects will be a reflection of your research. Below are the activities, their point values, and a brief explanation. Once you sign your contract, you will receive a grading rubric to tell you specifically what needs to be included in each activity. Newspaper article 5 Write a newspaper article about an incident that happened on another planet. You must include factual information about the planet. Commercial Space Mission Travel brochure 10 Make a travel brochure to invite people on a commercial space mission. You must include accommodations, dining information, sites to see, etc. Web page design 10 Design a web page explaining space exploration. Poster 10 Design a poster for outer space. Must include factual information. Childrens book (illustrated) 25 Write and illustrate a childrens book about outer space. Fashion show 25 Design and perform a fashion show for life on a specific planet. You will perform your fashion show for the class. Should include male and female outfits. Design a Space Station 25 On a piece of paper you will design a space station. All things needed to survive must be included. Galactic Mobile 25 Build a mobile depicting something from outer space (galaxies, solar system, space travel, etc.) Build a Space Station 50 Using materials brought from home you will build an actual space station. Board game 50 Develop a playable board game based on space exploration. Will include facts and trivia for outer space. Build a Moon Habitat 75 You will build a moon habitat that you can fit into.
