DEBATING KEY ISSUES ON INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

Round Table at the European Parliament Brussels, 24th of April 2012 at 10.00 Meeting room: ASP 5G305

Ms. Katarina Nevedalova, Member of the Committee on Culture and Education of the European Parliament and Mr. Adam Kosa, Chair of the Disability Intergroup have the pleasure to invite you to the round table Debating Key Issues on Inclusive Education, organised in cooperation with the European Agency for Development in Special Needs Education.

Inclusive education is an important topic implying serious reflections and debates at research, policy, practitioner and user levels. The round table will invite representatives from the different levels to debate three key issues regarding inclusive education: Early Childhood Education, the importance and benefits of this area. Teacher Education for Inclusion, which criteria teachers need to fulfil to become inclusive teachers? Vocational Education and Training, key parameters to be taken into account for successful practices: what works and how it works.
