I student of JaganNath Institute of Management sciences is pursuing a BBA Course and towards the partial fulfillment of it, I have undergone a summer training project for a period of 6 weeks. I have put my sincere efforts to accomplish my objectives within the stipulated time. Despite all the limitations, obstructs-hurdles, and hindrances, I have filed and worked to my optimum potential to achieve the desired goal. Being neophytes in the highly competitive world of business. I come across some difficulties to make my objective a reality. Any how, with the kind help and genuine interest of one all formally supported by guidance of my guide. I am presenting this hand carved effort is colored. I tried my level best to conduct a research to gain a through knowledge about the project in the topic "Competition Analysis of Sharekhan and Marketing and Promotion of Online trading account" I have put the best of my efforts and have also tried to be justice with the available. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
This report specially focuses on Sharekhan, a leading broking house in India. The project deals with the how is the Sharekhan as a broking house, what services it provides. Among the services, the report mainly flash light on the DEMAT service of Sharekhan, facilities provided by Sharekhan, steps to open an a/c are mainly covered in this part. So in a nut cell, this report has distinctly five phases. Phase I provides the information about the products and services of the Kotak securities, Phase II ICICIdirect.com, Phase III- Indiainfoline (5 paisa.com), Phase IV- Indiabulls.com, And the last Phase V- provides the information about the HDFCsecurities.com. And then the comparative analysis of all the stock broking companies.

So that, it makes us capable of marketing their products better as compared to the competitors.
