Meeting Notes
During the eighth general meeting of the Spring 2012 semester, the Executive Board held a panel discussion. Various questions were answered by each member of the board such as What was your greatest challenge this semester as well as What is the best part about your position?. This was a great way for prospective Fall 2012 Executive Board members to allow their questions to be answered. The Fall 2012 Executive Board nominations will be held on March 30. Following the general meeting, Cherry, Bekaert & Holland conducted a presentation held in a presidential debate format discussing the differences between careers in tax and audit. The next general meeting will be on March30, 2012. Florida Power & Light (FPL) will be presenting for both Finance and Accounting students.

CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS ~~

COCONUT GROVE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE 22ND ANNUAL GREAT TASTE OF THE GROVE APRIL 14 & 15 PEACOCK PARK

The Chamber of Commerce is lining up volunteers who are so important to the success of the Great Taste of the Grove.
We are looking for individuals who can work at least one shift either on Sat., April 14 or Sun., Apr. 15or both days -- if you have done this before you know how much fun you will have. This event features food and drinks from some of the area's finest restaurants, live music, and children's entertainment in Peacock Park. Volunteers are needed at the liquor and beer booths, water and soda, information and ticket booths. The shifts are 10:30-1 p.m.; 1:30-4 p.m. and 4-7:30 p.m. If for any reason you are not physically able to help with set up or breakdown, perhaps you can reel in a friend/neighbor/spouse to help us with this effort. Also please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes before your shift starts and allow sufficient time to park. We do ask, however, if you sign up and for any reason have to cancel, that you

let us know at least 48 hours prior to the event.

will leave us short staffed if you cancel the day before or if you do not show for your shift
