- DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES Experience and skills required within the department: High level of organization Enjoys meeting and working with new people Good presentation and public speaking skills Excellent understanding of ASIRYS Measures of Success within the department: All departments have a minimum of 3 active volunteers (additional to the manager and assistant managers) All volunteers attend a training/orientation session about ASIRYS 100% of volunteers receive a personal evaluation from their team leader /department manager 100% of volunteers have their information and personal development tracked 100% of volunteers are engaged in a department and are allocated a clear job description A volunteer appreciation gala is held at the end of each semester (once every 4 months) Department managers and assistant managers of Pascani receive adequate training in their role Title: Manager of Human Resources

Reporting to: Gelaine (HR and Communications Director), Mihaela Duration: May 2012 end of April 2013 Time Commitment: 8 to 12 hours per week Main responsibilities: Work with the Human Resource Consultant to facilitate recruitment of new volunteers and their allocation into departments Ensure tracking of the personal development of volunteers and their involvement in the organization in order to develop a system of performance evaluations and rewards Conduct volunteer meetings, information sessions, and new member training sessions to ensure that all volunteers fully understand the organization Send a biweekly newsletter out to all volunteers to keep everyone updated Recognize achievements and successes of volunteers on Facebook (encourage all volunteers to do the same) Additional Responsibilities Provide a small progress report to all volunteers at the end of each month Conduct performance evaluations for volunteers within your department Ensure all your team members have clear job descriptions Hold regular meetings with team members in your department Facilitate weekly meetings with the department managers to engage them in human resource processes and support them in developing their teams to ensure the facilitation of the ASIRYS experience Work regularly with Department manager and volunteers of Pascani for the first 4 months to train and coach them in their roles Title: Assistant Manager of Human Resources Reporting to: Gelaine (HR and Communications Director), Manager of Human Resources Duration: May 2012 end of April 2013 Time Commitment: 5 to 10 hours per week Main Responsibilities: Support the Manager of Human Resources in fulfilling the above functions

Assist in conducting training sessions and new member information sessions to ensure that all volunteers understand the organization Organize social events for volunteers in order to develop a strong sense of team identity and community among the volunteers of ASIRYS Track the personal development and member information of all volunteers Respond to email inquiries and requests from interested volunteers and update the newsletter email database Assist in organizing a volunteer appreciation gala at the end of each semester

- DEPARTMENT OF COMMUNICATIONS AND PUBLIC RELATIONS Experience required within the department: Excellent writing and speaking skills Experience with website design, graphic design, and video presentations Ability to work with a variety of different people Understanding of the principles of Public Relations Knowledge of the city, non-profit and business communities High level of understanding of the ASIRYS organization and how it works Measures of Success within the department: Increased online visibility for the organization: increased number of comments, fans on facebook, youtube associations, etc. Consistently updated website (both English and Romanian) Increased number of fans on the Facebook page (ASIRYS now in the top 50 of Romanian organizations on Facebook) Monthly newsletter sent out to organization partners to update them Active Facebook group for volunteers 10 blog articles are published online 5 major media appearances in the year to promote ASIRYS projects Department managers and assistant managers of Pascani receive adequate training in their role

Title: Manager of Communications and Public Relations Reporting to: Gelaine (HR and Communications Director), Mihaela Duration: May 2012 end of April 2013 Time Commitment: 8 to 12 hours per week

Main responsibilities: Find and utilize online tools that will benefit the organization and train the volunteers in using them (ensure that they are applied) Develop Press Releases and coordinate with other media channels in order to increase visibility for the organization o Draft promos, commercials, promotional contests and campaigns o Write articles in collaboration with other organizations to increase visibility Develop a newsletter to send out monthly to our partners and sponsors that will inform them of the organizations activities o Coordinate with the Sponsorship and Fundraising department to do this Ensure the email database for sponsors and partners is constantly updated and accurate Responding to emails from existing or potential partners, and promoting relevant opportunities to the volunteers Maintain collaboration with existing partners Additional responsibilities: Provide a small progress report to all volunteers at the end of each month Conduct performance evaluations for volunteers within your department Ensure all your team members have clear job descriptions Hold regular meetings with team members in your department Facilitate weekly meetings with the department managers to engage them in human resource processes and support them in developing their teams to ensure the facilitation of the ASIRYS experience Train volunteers on the principles of Public Relations and ensure that everyone has a core understanding of the ASIRYS brand o Everything must be consistent with the principles of Public Relations and ASIRYS branding Work regularly with Department manager and volunteers of Pascani for the first 4 months to train and coach them in their roles Title: Communications Director Reporting to: Gelaine (HR and Communications Director), Mihaela, Manager of Communications and Public Relations Duration: May 2012 end of April 2013 Time Commitment: 5 to 10 hours per week Main responsibilities:

Update the websites (both Romanian and English) Maintain and update all social media channels (Youtube, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook) and increasing activity and engagement of online users Utilize the internal Facebook Group for volunteers to generate discussions and engage volunteers in opportunities Update the ASIRYS blog: engage volunteers to submit regular blog updates/stories for you to post online Develop communications campaigns (using videos, articles, promotional materials, etc.) to target volunteers and partner organizations Develop audio and video presentations to promote the results for each project in the organization - DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT -

Experience required within the department: Ability to work with a variety of people Persistent and outgoing individuals Knowledge of the city, non-profit and business communities High level of understanding of ASIRYS and its projects Measures of Success within the department: To attract long-term partners to finance our projects both within Romania and internationally (at least 5) Finalized sponsorship packages Permanent office located in Pascani Database of potential donors in the cities of Targu Frumos and Pascani is established Department managers and assistant managers of Pascani receive adequate training in their role Development of an online store or other means that is consistent with ASIRYS as a Social Enterprise Title: Manager of Business Development Reporting to: Gelaine (HR and Communications Director), Mihaela Duration: May 2012 end of April 2013 Time Commitment: 8 to 12 hours per week Main responsibilities: Respond to email inquiries and requests from partners

Identify opportunities within the country or abroad that ASIRYS should participate in or be present in order to increase funding Identify potential donors and sponsors, and work with the Director of Partnerships to develop a donor database Attract international partners and domestic partners for a long-term source of funding Service existing partners and potential partners Ensure awareness from the volunteers about our sponsors Work with the Communications and Public Relations department in delivering a monthly newsletter to our sponsors and partners Responsible for financial accounting, ensuring financial transparency, and tracking of all of the NGOs finances
