2012 Analyst Position for KKR Capstone Company Description: Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co.

KKR Capstone is the operational arm of KKR and works to accelerate performance at companies within KKRs portfolio. KKR Capstones primary mission is to consistently drive value creation on the most important operational issues. These typically include top-line growth, cost optimization, organizational structure and capabilities, and key investment decisions. KKR Capstone also supports due diligence efforts on the most significant issues impacting the evaluation of potential acquisitions. KKR Capstone provides a unique opportunity for people who have spent 18-36 months at a strategy consulting firm to drive real operating change and value generation in a private-equity environment. Description of Position: KKR Capstone Analysts are expected to take ownership of key issues, are held accountable for individual results and are typically the primary agents of change within the organization. Analysts help set the value creation agenda and are expected to deliver tangible wins on the investment. Analysts work closely with senior colleagues that have had significant operating experience in addition to their consulting and private equity experience. Analysts frequently collaborate with deal side partners and portfolio company executives to drive operating results in a tangible, hands-on fashion. Analysts will gain invaluable skills in managerial decision-making, leadership, personnel management, prioritization, implementation feasibility, P&L oversight, and operational execution. Qualification: The candidate should have prior experience with a major consulting firm and a demonstrated distinctive track record vs. peer group. The candidate should have between 12 and 36 months of work experience and may or may not have an MBA. The individual should have strong presence, a bias to action, and a nose for the money.
