Before beginning ensure you have the first adboard patch installed 2. Extract the xml and graphics folder to your desktop 3. Place the graphics folder into the following directory; My documents/sports interactive/football manager 2011 You may be asked if you want to replace existing files and folders, agreeing to this will just update previous adboards and will not result in the loss of any previous graphics. 4. Open up the xml folder on your desktop 5. You will notice two folders one called with club ads and the other without clubs ads cut and paste both of these folders to the following directory My documents/sports interactive/football manager 2011/ads 6. Choose one of the xml files to use either with or without clubs ads and copy and paste this file over the existing fm.xml file in the football manager 2011/ads directory. 7. Enjoy F.A.Q Q. Why are there two different xml files? A. As the folder names suggest one xml file contains club specific adboards and one doesnt. This has been done as in previous pervious people have complained that they see clubs specific adboards in cup competitions. Due the way the xml file there is no way around this using code. The only solution would be the use of two files.

For example say you are Arsenal and want Arsenal specific adboards in the Premiership and the Champions league adboards in the Champions League you would follow these steps; 1. 2. 3. 4. Load up FM with the Club Specific config file in use Play your league game (Arsenal ads will show) Before your Champions League game Save and quit FM11 Replace the club specific config file with the non club config file. 5. Re boot FM11 6. Play your Champions League match (Champions League ads will show). This is not an ideal solution but its the only solution we have. Too try and avoid mix ups in the xml file the top of the file is marked to show if it is club specific or not, the xml file can be opened with notepad.
