Reflection Ireallythinkthatthesignswiththestemsandtheendingstrulyhelpedthe students,butIhadtoturnitintogamewithpointsforthestudentstobuyintoit. OnceImadeitagameandcreatedtworoundsanotesroundandachallenge roundthenthestudentsbecamemoreexcitedaboutit.Ialsomadepassingthe ballpartofthegamefromteamtoteam,andmorestudentsbecamemore enthusiasticaboutthegame. Afterthequerersignactivity,Ihadthestudentsworkonbookworkwiththeir classmatesinordertohelpwiththerotememorizationofspellingquererbecause theactivity,theycouldonlyrecognizethetwostemsandthesixendings.So,I believedthatthebookworkwouldbenefitthestudents.Itwouldalsohelpfurther withthevocabularyfromtheunitthusfar. Ireallyalsolikedthediscussionaboutrulesathomeandcomparingittofamily rulesinSpanishspeakingcountries.Allclassesenjoyedmakingthecomparisonand pointingoutthedifferences,butmostfoundthattheyhadsimilarrulesattheir homesaswell.Allteenagersneedtoaskpermissiontogohangoutwithfriends, andpermissionbeforetheygoplaces.Thestudentscouldseethesimilarities betweenthetwocultures,andconnectwiththeSpanishculture.
