Regarding the Respondent The respondents are the people who use ATM and the management of the Metrobank.

Regarding the Survey Based on the survey that was conducted by the researcher more people(based on the sample that was selected) prefer to use the fingerprint in validating their transactions in the ATM. 60% of the sample prefer the use of fingerprint. 30% wanted the usual way of accessing their accounts and the remaining which is 10% is not sure of their position regarding with this matter. Based on the first question, 70% is assured with the security and reliability of the current ATM system while 30% is the other way around. The second question showed that 60% of the respondents dont encounter much problems with the current ATM system while 40% do encounter some problems. The third question showed that 73% believed that the current ATM system is user-friendly while 27% is not that convinced with the user-friendliness of the system. As reflected in the fourth question, 70% is contented of the transactions offered by the current ATM system while 30% believes it still needs to be developed. In the fifth question,73% is satisfied with the convenience offered by the current ATM system while 27% is not satisfied with the transactions offered. The sixth question showed that 67% believed that the use of ATM cards has disadvantages while 33% does not find much disadvantages. 63% is satisfied with the capabilities of the current ATM system as shown in the seventh question while 27% is not satisfied with its capabilities. Although most of the respondents are satisfied with the performance of the current ATM system, in the next question 93% responded that they still wanted its capabilities to be improved while 7% is already contented with it. In the tenth question, 63% preferred to have a grasp of their accounts by the usual way of accessing while 37% agreed that it should be accessed by the users fingerprint. The

next question shows that 60% believed that problems encountered with the use of ATM cards will be lessen if fingerprint will be used instead while 40% prefer to use the traditional way of accessing their accounts. In the eleventh question, 90% believed that it will be more convenient to use ones fingerprint while 10% believed that using ATM cards is convenient enough. The last question showed that 90% believed that transactions will be more reliable if fingerprint will be used while 10% believed that ATM card is reliable enough. Requirements Analysis The purpose of the requirements analysis is to identify the needed requirements in order to come up with the desired result. The researchers have come up with the following requirements (both the functional and the non-functional requirements) based on the specification of the clients and users. Functional Requirements The system will allow the user to enter the ATM card. Instead of pin code, the system accepts the fingerprint of the user for validation. The system allows the user to select from a list of transactions. The system will allow money withdrawal. The system will allow balance inquiry. The system records the user transaction. The system releases receipt if the user asks for it.

Non-Functional Requirements The system can run on hand-held devices. The system can be viewed online. The system has all types of antivirus software. The system allows user to withdraw coins. The system must respond to the users request in just 3 seconds. The system validates any type of cards.
