    The above is Transit rule mind you the 1st is Promise in the chart , 2nd is condusive dasha and then the fructifying agent or courier is transit to give the results. I give an example for the chart. Supposing the Moon Nakshatra is Uttrabhadrapad and we want to see the results of Saturn in transit, who is in chitra nak. Now counting from moon Nak. to saturn nak . which is 16 , now see in Table 1 16 the corresponding no. for Saturn is 27 and in the Table II 27 says Enjoyment and happiness

    Transit at a glance: Shastra says Transit results are studied with reference to Lagna, which gives 20 % , Moon sign

    which gives 70% results and ashtakvarga which gives 10%. The addition of these three parameters is the final outcome. Although in actual practice the results from Lagna are considered as 25% and from Moon 75%. Apart from planets in a particular bhava where it bestows benefic results from the Moon sign, Finer practice is counting from birth star to a star where planet is posited in transit, this is again a finer tunning of the transit results and hence for the period of stay of a planet in a particular nakshatra The following tables indicate the results of transit of a planet in different nakshatra counted from birth star. Count the number from birth star to the star where a planet is transiting. As per that number see col. 1 of table I and pick corresponding number of the respective planet from cols. 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of same Table .
