We are creative both as receivers and deliverers. There is not one without the o ther.

Think of music: it is not just when a song is created that creativity is i nvolved, but when the song is played and heard it creates emotional and spiritua l movement(maybe imagery) in the receiver, in the listener, who now 'have create d' a new story, different from the original, based and inspired by the original. Naturally because of the process there will be many things similar to the story or picture, but there will also be something different that originates it's del ivering point in the listener. That in turn makes the whole story unique; althou gh having many common elements the whole story is colored by the artist, the per son, the human being. To siplyfie this I can think people as colours(childish? I know.). So they all are looking at the same story, but Mr. Blue sees everything through blue glasses, Mr. Red sees everything through red glasses, and Mr. Gree n with green glasses. Empathy goes hand in hand with creativity. Have you ever t hought about that. Our ability to imagine ourselves in someone elses situation. That leads me to realize, that creativity in it self is not just a good thing, b ut a quality, feature or attribute that can be used either for good or bad. In t he philosophical sense, this ofcourse brings us to the problem of defining good and bad. Who says what is good and what is bad? We can say it is the result of d emocratic agreement, but does someones opinion really make a thing good or bad? If we would live in a society where there would be no rules, it would lead to wa r and ultimately kaos, 'cause there would be no one to say "you can't do this, o r you can't do that". That's why we decided to agree on some things(well quite a lot of things) so that we could live in a safety enviroment, not having to have to fear for the security of our own lives. That is one thing that separates us from most animals, who live by the rule "the stongest will rule, the strongest w ill survive". Going back to music. Music is not just art we enjoy listening it is a real infl uence that causes real things to happen in human life. It can bring life or it c an bring death. It always has an effect to the receiver. Even already when the m usician hears the music in his head(He must be receiver before he can be a deliv erer) before he writes it down, it causes him to get in to the creative process whitch ultimately leads to the writing of the whole song. Simple illusration: Pe rson thinking suicide hears "depressing" song communicating "I want to die". Tha t reinforces the persons decision to take his own life. In the same way people w ho fall in love like's to listen to music(and watch movies) that communicates ro mance to them, in order to strengthen their experience.
